  1. he could already be on the case . The more we tell him where he's going wrong the more he will try to go under the radar .Regards True enough, but f**k-wit always comes back the same way. Imagination's not a trait that he's (they've?) ever displayed. As Forest Gump said, 'Stupid is as stupid does'. Fair play to the folks who've shed light on this.
  2. Fantastic, Si. Respect to all those who made this possible and to all those who could turn up.
  3. why does the wanker all ways come back here?? he knows that his cards marked even with spell check, God knows but the tit must be desperate. The older I get the less I understand folks........
  4. It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits...... All's well that ends well and I hope no one got scammed. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I just wonder what master plan f**k-wit will pull together next time.
  5. Nice film that, Si. I can vouch for Rob's work, I've seen and used a couple of his knives and they really are top notch kit and Rob's a great bloke. I hope it keeps going on the up for you, mate.
  6. The best thing my wife ever gave me was a f*****g divorce....
  7. Fair comment but sometimes under such conditions and I'm not saying that KZ is what some have said, but what if he is? I'm sorry to say but maybe your moral compass needs adjusting somewhat. Sorry.....
  8. Awe ffs...because i'm the other feckin Graham You're all bullying this guy because he claims to have shot a fcuking bird ffs at 73 yards. Is it right??? No it's fcuking not!!! When you were at school...did you ever stop to help the guy that always got bullied or were you the fcuking a...hole doing the bullying??? What other Graham....? I'm a little out of touch on here
  9. You know when you get that bloke down the pub that starts banging on about gays and how much he hates them, blah, blah, then years later you hear he's now batting for the other side? KZ, you protest too loud. AirgunGuy? Why's your voice so loud too?? Just wondering, don't want to fall out
  10. I'd like to see this, I really would. I know a couple of folks who could maybe pull this off one time in ten, it'll make interesting footage. Keep the editing honest and with a minimum of five shots
  11. LMFAO!!!! THL at it's best
  12. I've had a few AWT rams for myself and friend's guns and they've always been spot on. Good to hear they're still made by the same (I hope...) UK company too. Recomended
  13. Technology can be a help but there's no substitute for practice and getting to know your kit properly.
  14. I enjoyed that. Paul, nicely done It's been too long since I was last over, I really need to get my miserable sorry carcass sorted out but my head's still a bit f****d up, as you know. I'll give that lad a call this week about the other permission, I think lamping's the way to go there.
  15. As above. It's illegal in the UK to hunt with any kind of bow. Sad but true.
  16. Any time, Steve, just give me a shout and I'll see if my mate who has one in .177 can come along too so you can do a little contrast and compare.
  17. If you can get yourself down to Leeds for a shoot, you can try my own self tuned 90 in .20. I think you'd like it
  18. If the breach block's got a couple of small threaded holes to accept the rear sight, then you just need the barrel latch assembly from a 77 and you're away.
  19. Have you changed anything other than the scope, including pellet type? Was it grouping OK before? What kit are you using?
  20. I know what you mean about pre charge, I had a AA410c a couple of years back and as good as it was, it just left me cold and I found myself reaching for my old springers instead. It's not the amount of recoil with the Theoben, it's the way it's delivered and how it affects the rifle's firing cycle. They go off with a fairly sharp snap unlike a steel springed gun which tends to have a much more lazy recoil. What this translates to is when you zero the gun in from whatever your favored rest is, when you change position or your hold on the rifle, the zero will shift. It's something that affec
  21. Hi, mate. They are a very well put together bit of kit but can be a hard tool to master. The plus sides are very smooth action, they're quite compact and are fairly light to lug around. The gas rams are very reliable and you can carry them cocked without fear of damaging anything. Fantastic build quality too. The down sides now. They have a very sharp recoil which gives scopes a hard time and makes the rifle very hold sensitive. The trigger's ok but not as good as it should be for the price. They are relatively hard to cock which depending on how strong you are can make practice sessio
  22. Isn't that the Turkish version of the old Omega/ Elite, Moxy? I remember working on those back in the late 's and early 90's and they were as good as anything else at the time when they were built in the UK. A proper quality product that put BSA's to shame. I can't comment on their Turkish cousins though, as the Longbow's not a rifle that I've ever worked on. Just to add... From what I can remember, they're pretty poor at FAC. Anything much over 12 ruined them. I could be wrong, long time ago!!
  23. Nicely done, Adam I echo the other replies, Rapid all the way. I'm no expert on PCPs but what I do know is they are built to last and perform very well at FAC levels. I've a couple of mates that use them and I've got to say that I've always been impressed as to how well they shoot. Without breaking They are built to last If you fancy a challenge, however, the Diana 52 family can be taken quite happily to a little over 30 (.22) and will still shoot very nicely, thank you. Without the hassle of a PCP. Best of luck, however you choose
  24. Buy cheap, buy twice. It's as simple as that. You can't polish a turd. As Wurz has said, an older used HW whatever can be picked up for around a ton and unless it been very badly abused or butchered, a good service or has already been said, an off the shelf tuning kit will have it shooting better for a potential life time of ownership, even if it's thirty or more years old now. No cheap and cheerful bargain bin special will ever be able to do that. I kind of get where Mike's coming from but I certainly don't agree. Each to their own
