  1. Yes what sort of price were you thinking. You are welcome to try it out then I could remove the mounts?
  2. Between Penrith and Carlisle..... It's in my profile
  3. This will go to a local gun shop on commission in a couple of days someone make me a reasonable offer.......
  4. I am selling my AA S410. In very nice condition very few marks. Its it a pre At version in .22. Comes with Airmax 5.5-16 44mm scope, 2 mags, neoprene cammo sling and lined slip. Asking £400 plus postage. Prefer face 2 face transaction with cash or bank transfer. Ps........... this is a carbine with AA silencer Cheers Piccies below. The cable tie on the ocular sets the ajustment for my eye without any chance of movement I can easily remove it. The bubble level will be removed before sale
  5. Hi Ledders From what I gather the map 6 is supposed to work best with 11.5 ftlb in .22 Then the recticle dots give easily remembered 5 yd intervals. With .177 you would use BRC to tell you your distances. See Here... http://www.airgunbuy...p?ID=2496&pic=1 Many people think they need a 9 or 12 x scope but really I use 6x a lot for hunting out to 50 yds. Don't forget a lot of HFT shooters like 6x for the depth of field too. At night lower mag. collects more light as well. so win win. With mil dots at 6x a half mil dot scope to make sense as the there will be less need
  6. One thing to consider. At least around here is we have a poaching problem. Deer, Hares, sheep pheasants etc,so if you are spotted even at 3 Am suspicions can be aroused so easily. Years ago I wandered far and wide with all manner of arms quite freely on my permissions. As there were walkers and equestrian folk it was fun to see their reactions. Shotgun, air rifle, rimmy all generally well recieved bow or crossbow eeek they almost visibly wet themselves. Those were great days for sure. Steve
  7. It just gets better. Thanks ........... Most people with 90's tune by getting the gas ram in the sweet spot. Did you do anything else I wonder? Steve
  8. Cheers Andy I may just take you up on that one sometime as my partners parents are in Halifax. Steve
  9. No probs mate. just be carefull at the end clicks when counting the extremes don,t force the clicks just count the normal clicks without using force. Steve
  10. Shim under the front for shooting high and rear for low. Best to center the clicks on the scope first. Do this by going all the way on the ajuster then count total clicks to full travel. Half the number and set turret to this number. Then your scope will be at center before you shim. Shim at ten yds to within an inch of aim point. Then zero at preferred range. usually 25 yds for a .22 Then you should get the best from the scope. Steve
  11. ocks that's the 2nd time I have got a gun wrong on this forum I would like a 95 in .20 then I could mix and match. Plus have a play with the ballistics and tuning My dream tinkering gun would be a 90 with a full compliment of barrels. Then I could compare cals. and make direct comparisons without stripping it down. Steve
  12. Cheers Elliot It would be fun to compare your B&C 97 to my self tuned hybrid you are only an hour away.. Steve
  13. Spot on Scot The gun was tuned by me. I am a born tinkerer. After seeing a pellet staying on top of Si's scope on firing I had to try and achieve it. It took lots of strip down to get it. I still think there is room for improvement. But every time I change something I have to shoot chrono and repeat to verify the results. I found that 11 ft lbs is the sweet spot 11.2 is getting much a harsher firing cycle. I will get there in the end then I can sit back and enjoy the work I put in. Practice on paper is the best way of having the confidence to make the live shot count, plus you ha
  14. Thaks lads it turns out the average size of 50 yd groups was less than 1 1/2" not including the last. so pretty chuffed. Now just need to practice closing those gaps. Steve
