  1. Hi, mate. Short of sticking in the bath and watching for bubbles after it's filled, if you fill it and it's loseing pressure then you've got a leak. Cheers. Edit to say... Why do you think it's leaking?
  2. Fellas? You've all missed the forth one. Can't you see? It's Elvis!! Alive for now but maybe not for much longer... Cheers from me and a cheers to second sight.
  3. Hi, mate. Don't know about price, sorry, but I will say they are one of the best springers I've ever used and I've used a goodly few. If the price is ok, you'll not go far wrong with a TX. Cheers.
  4. Hi, mate. You asked that before, same answer, from the Mk1 to Mk5 they use the same spring. The Mk6 onwards were re-designed and are not the same gun at all. Cheers.
  5. Totally un-workable. As gas been said, there's so many guns out there now. Crims will be crims and stupid people will always do stupid things. If folks aren't bothered about the laws that already exist, they're not going to too fussed if a licenceing system exists or not. Banning hand-guns didn't make it any more illegal to shoot someone, did it? It'd screw the gun trade and be a total nightmare for the cops, who are already under so much pressure keeping crime in check and makeing us all feel safe... A-hem... Cheers.
  6. Hi, mate. Always check when you've changed something just to be sure, as has been said. I changed the mod on my 410c a while back from the AA one to an HW and the POI dropped by about 2 inch's and that's on a 'recoilless' gun. Cheers.
  7. Hi, mate. If you go to your local diver's shop, most of them sell used tanks and they're loads cheaper than buying new. Cheers.
  8. Hi, mate. No, they're not the same, they changed them from the Mk5 on... Cheers.
  9. Hi, mate. If you go down in caliber, it'll reduce the power a little by about 10% ish. That's not a totaly sound rule, but just a rough guide... And vise versa. Cheers.
  10. Hi, mate. Stock off, tap the retaining pins gently out, remove trigger mechanism then slide out the catch (don't lose the spring). Smear some thick grease where the catch engages the trigger then pop it back together. It won't totaly silence it but it'll help. Or... Hold the catch in with your thumb when you cock the gun. Cheers.
  11. Hi, mate. I used Mags/Barracudas (same thing) for a goodly few years in .177 and really can't fault them. They hold their energy much better than most at range and if your gun likes them, you won't go far wrong with them. Cheers.
  12. My Gat Gun. Thumbhole (African iron wood)stock, NV sights, heat seaking darts (red flights),phase cannon laser range finder, see-through-walls infra red and a really nice keyring looped through the trigger guard!! Lovely bit of kit. Cheers...... Edit to say... I'm quite fond of my AA410c too.....
  13. Hi, mate. I've a Lightning with a ram fitted and while it did do a fair bit to address some of it's issues, twangs, vibration, recoil, it did nothing to cure the crap trigger and general rubbish build and finish on the gun. Have a look at the Sandwell tune, by all means. I've always said you can't polish a turd but I'm happy to be proved wrong! Good luck with it, mate. Cheers. Edit to say... AWT make the rams for Theoben. They are exactly the same thing.
  14. Nice one, Shay, I'm glad it's on the way. When I needed some work doing on my HW90, the only place I could find in the north (ish) that had the gear to do the job was Wighill Park Guns, near Castleford, Yorkshire. Very helpful and cool to deal with. Good luck with it, my mate! Cheers.
  15. Hi, mate. If the gun's shooting well and you can place your shots where you want, the bunnies won't give a toss if they've been shot by a Daystate or your B2. Good luck with it! Cheers.
  16. Hi ya buddy just lost all Internet buddy could you email me on demon.dewis@yahoo.co.uk please buddy cheers shay Hi, Shay. Did my last PM reach you? Sent today 11 ish am.
  17. Yes it would. Any pressure loss along the line will do that as the piston slams into the end of the cylinder without a good cushion of sealed air. The only thing you've said that makes me wonder is the fact that it's harder to cock now. That would point to the piston in some way but if that's the case, something's come adrift in a bad way... Edit to say.... It doesn't sound like you've a problem with the ram, so don't be looking at a coil spring. You've got a seal problem, in one way or another.
  18. Especialy for the second one. Priceless!!!
  19. It's deffo one or the other, I just hope it's the breach as it's the cheaper option! Cheers.
  20. Hi, Shay. It does sound like it may well be the piston seal like you've been told but they don't tend to just suddenly fail, especialy if the gun's in regular use. Not wishing to teach granny how to suck eggs, so to speak, but are you sure the breach seal's ok? It only takes a little bit of crap to get in there when you close the barrel to damage the 'o' ring. I hope it's all ok soon and does not cost you a fortune!! Good luck, mate. Cheers.
  21. Hi, mate. I use all three but mainly .22 at the moment. As has been said it's all about putting the shot in the right place. With the p*ss poor amount of power we're allowed, I really don't think caliber is that important. Use what you feel confident with. Cheers.
  22. Cool! Let's see what you've got. Lovely bit of kit..... Cheers....
  23. If I'd not got my 90 in .20, I'd be having that off you!! Lovely gun and good luck with the sale... Cheers.
  24. Hi, mate. I use a LED Lenser. Adjustable beam width and strength, light and comfy enough to wear. £40 off ebay. Not cheap for a head torch but a top bit of kit. Cheers.
  25. Hi, mate. I've a Lightning with a ram fitted and it's still crap, if a little less crap than before. They are what they are, basic, badly made but for some strange reason lot's of folks rave on about them. The very early ones were UK built and were ok but they've been built in Spain now for a long time and are not a patch on what they once were... The Evo's in a different league. Try and have a go with one, or something similar and you'll soon see. Good luck, mate! Cheers.
