  1. Hi, mate. Try Wighill Park Guns, they're not that far from you. I've used them a few times and they've been really good so far. Cheers.
  2. Where could I buy a .20 barrel for HW95? Thanks I got mine through my local gun shop who got it from Hull Cartridge Co. who are the main importer. Cost about £ and took bloody months to arrive. Glad I did it though .20's well worth a go. Loads of ammo to choose from on-line. Cheers. I'll have to have a look then! Is it true that the trajectory is completely flat from 0-25 yards? No, mate, not really. .20 shoots a lot closer to .22 than .177 in practice as the pellets generaly weigh roughly the same, 12-15ish grains. So the velocity's much closer to .22.

  4. Get the links from lads who've had good stuff from ebay, Aaron. There's a hell of a lot of sh1te on there that's not what it claims to be. I've been stung twice..... Cheers.
  5. Oh yeah, I forgot I'd tried them in my .20 HW90. Same result.... That said to be fair, the 90's a bit pellet fussy in .20. The only ones I've found that really work are Dynamics and Beeman Airbullets. Cheers. Edit... And Baracudas go well out of it too.
  6. I picked up a mint 410c last summer with a 12l bottle and all the gear for £450. Can't recomend one highly enough. Good luck, mate. Cheers.
  7. Hi, mate. Yup, I've had a .20 barrel on my HW90 for the past couple of years and I really like it. It kills things just as well as .177 and .22. Practice with what you've got and are happy with. Don't get too hung up on caliber, they'll all do the biz if you do your bit. Cheers.
  8. Have a look at most of your early posts on here, Aaron..... Come on, you've at last worked out how to use a spell checker. Ghillie's been doing this for just a little bit longer than you, so don't disrespect him 'cos of that.
  9. Nice one, Jack. Glad you've got it sorted. Cheers.
  10. Hi, mate. Accupel's are a great pellet, if your gun likes them. A very good all rounder and tend to work very well in a wide variety of guns. I've had very good results useing Loguns (16 grains) in my AA410c, they fly very well and 'cos they've a better ballistc performance than a conventional waisted pellet, they don't drop as much at range as their weight may sugest. Cheers. PS.. Not splitting hairs but Bisley Mags started life as H and N Baracudas and came onto the market in the early 's, a good few years before PCP's were sold. Yes, they do work best in pre-charge and pump-
  11. Ummmmm............. Should I or shouldn't I? Gary, that doesn't say much for you Sir  But I'm not going to bring this thread any further down than that as we all got a bit of a bollocking not too long back after someone else said something along similar lines Phantom
  12. Yeah, most are these days but (as said) the Xocet's UK built.
  13. Cash and children permiting, I'll be there... I'll show you all how to properly miss an HFT target!!
  14. I've not had much to do with corvids for a long time but when I last did, I used .177 with Baracudas and never had any problems takeing them with body shots. I know I may get some stick for this but it worked very well for me. Cheers.
  15. I've an HW90 at the moment (11 years), love it! Over the years I've owned 35, , 77 (.177 and .22) and a lovely little 55 that I think is a very over looked gun. They've all been top class. Webley in recent years have really got their act together and make springer's that are at least as good as the rest for the price. I've fitted a gas-ram to my Xocet and it really does shoot very well for a springer. It's not as good as the 90 but at nearly half the price, it's not too far off. At least Webley springer's are still made in the UK, not like BSA (shame on them!!) Cheers.
  16. Hi, mate. I have both a Lighting and an Xocet. The only thing the BSA has going for it is it's small size, the Webley is a better gun in every other way. Trigger, build quality, the way it shoots, accuracy, the lot really. Cheers.
  17. Good point, Rick. May well be an anti or whatever.
  18. Good! There's a difference between having a go and takeing the p*ss..... Don't like chancers, never have. Cheers, Tony.
  19. Hi, folks. I've just had a PM come through from 'Allforone' asking me to join a new forum. Whoever this is has no posts on here so has only just joined or is an existing member under a new name. Anyone else had it through or can shead any light on it? I've not followed the link yet but will have a look.... Cheers.
  20. Result!! Nice one, fella. Thanks for the write up. Cheers.
  21. Hi, mate. I've tried them in my .177 Xocet, RWS52 and Tracker, .22 in my Lightning, King Ratty and AA410c and they've been shite in all of them. Maybe I've been unlucky.... Cheers. Funny shaped pellets. Always a winner. Not! Edit to say... They are pretty much the same as the Mags but with a hollow head that really screws up the way they fly past about ten feet....
  22. Hi, Jack. 'Canting'...... OK, as you look through your scope, for arguments sake, you're looking in a straight line to infinity. Your pellet (or whatever) flys through a parabolic arc 'til gravity and air resistance wins the day over kinetic energy and it hits the deck. Because the shot leaves the gun say 30-40ish mm below your line of site, it has to go up to cross and meet your sight-line (zero) then back down again. If the barrel is not DIRECTLY below your line of site, instead of going just up and down, it must go slightly from one side to the other too. Soooo, if say you zer
  23. Thanks mate, its a pokey gun has no problem going clean through a Yellow Pages at 25 paces!! I assume this is a good thing? If you need to kill a Truro Yellow pages, then yes, that's spankin'!!
  24. Hi, mate. Love the avatar! Nice one!! Welcome to you, Sir. I've a 90 too, had it for about 11 years now and appart from a slight leak from the ram a couple of years back, it's never given a moments problem and has fired many thousands of shots. Top class springer. There's some good folks on here mostly, so any questions, problems, etc. there's more than likely someone who can help. All the best, mate. Enjoy!! Cheers.
  25. If you're wanting it to hunt with, HW99. If you just need it for target shooting, the 50s you mentioned should be fine for what you need. Bon chance!
