    Pesky mate, I've broke bones in a half pipe (on fruit boots granted?) I was shoite ?... it takes more than skill on a skateboard or fruit boots to just survive the experience. It's no different to gymnastics on a moving platform, at speed. Check out some of the red bull extreme skater videos. I've seen a skater mate just start swinging his board, by the wheel, against 5 lads because they interrupted his run (on purpose, I might add). Crazy Swedish b*****d told me to stand out the way ? Skaters go to the extreme for the extreme ability and that's what the Olympics is about imo Extrem

    Sandy an me maybe don't agree on a lot but we do on some things. Make no mistake, Galgos are hunting bred, tested and culled excessively (which is a massive issue here, Google it). They are fit for purpose

    If you want to run dogs then Castilla de mancha is the area. But it's hot, dry and in winter it'll hit -3 and feel shit. It's the local climate but it doesn't feel like Blighty -3 with the rain and humidity. The south is pretty much sun all year and it's also where the wankers congregate. So if thy mrs wants to watch people snorting a line on the bar... that's the place ? The south is great just stay away from the main cities and towns and don't get pulled into the expat shoite. Learn the language, make local friends and you'll be at home.

    Hunting no mate, I really fuucked up on that front and chose the wrong place ? I have mates in Aragon and Basque country but running dog wise, I really dropped the ball on that one. Got one of the best bred dogs in the country (Blighty) and then failed the cnut. Still he gets out to the mountains and beaches etc and it's in him like you wouldn't believe. Any failure is completely my fault.

    A mate of mine here bought a concept rucksack, it can fit 80ltrs and weights about 300gram, tbh I was very impressed with it but I prefer the security of a heavier pack that can be used without worry of splits or catching and ripping on a bush. Plus, if you slip on scree a more durable rucksack is gonna save you

    If you've ever been caught in a storm, sleeping in a hammock, I guarantee you'll know how miserable it is when the water wicks it's way down to ya sleeping bag ? That shit sucks, simple physics fixes the issue ? If you wanna drink rank, dirty water, that's wicked it's way down to ya bottle then crack on lad. I bet you'd suck the moisture from a toilet if you had a slake on ?

    Holy fuuck! I never knew I need one of them in my life ? It's the weight that bothers me though. If I'm off into the mountains, weight is everything, hence why I take vodka ? My hammock set up for two people weighs around 1kg. 2 hammocks, cord and a tarp. I always put the hammocks bunk bed style, put a cord above and throw the tarp over and peg it up (forgot to mention clothes pegs are a must in my kit lol). If it rains, pull the pegs and the tarp drops down either side. Dog always sleeps under my hammock if rain is coming, so I always have a heads up Oh and after you've tied y

    Brian the fen russell? ? When I lived in Blighty the dogs I had were a nightmare for fuucking off, hunting up on every walk. The staffy and Lurcher were the worst for it. She'd bush and he'd be ready and waiting, proper team tbh. The terrier would just piss off and do his own thing. Out of the five, only two would be where you could see them. Took to putting hi-viz on all of the cnuts, so I could spot them easier ? Tbf they would always come back when I whistled them though.... eventually.     Can't beat a bit of beach for the dogs. Way too hot here at the moment. We've been having a heatwave this last week and Jesus it's been ridiculous. Took him to the beach and he just collapsed under the umbrella and didn't move for 3 hours, except to lift his head and have a drink. Had to drag him to the sea to cool him off ?

    They'll stay longer than a grey for sure. Still can't stand the snipey nosed cnuts though ? A lot of them you see here are rescues and tend to be a little bit sharp. I've mentioned before, in the park here my coursing bred nobhead will have a pack of them behind him. They can't get close to him. He's far more agile and I'd say reaches speed way quicker. Wish I'd had/made the chance to run him against them in the field tbh.

    God's country! Actually brought a tear to my eye, how beautiful our land is, especially up north lol. Didn't realise how much I miss it. The waterfall where you fell over, I think.... is where they filmed the river scene in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Could be wrong though ?     Had a brain scan the other day (appointment was at 3am ffs) and I get a msg a couple days later saying we need to talk about your results... in 4 weeks ? So I'm guessing I'm all good on the tumor front ? Appreciate the well wishes etc but as I keep saying. This isn't about me it's request to all of you, about not procrastinating about health shit and get checked out
