  1. Its not the fule or costs...its the traveling all the way down threre..I got an Op coming up so not sure if il be fully recoverd by then. I might learn a thing or two about shooting if i came Marty Marty. hi Marty turn up and chillaxe, you can rest your shoulder. I will look after you! Yes and I will teach you a thing or 2 about shooting and washing and lubing pellets . You know you want to .
  2. Thanks for all the comments lads . Your views are greatly appreciated . Quality work on the editing too Malc , Ive just watched it on my home pc and its really good, much better than just watching it on my phone. Now that we have sussed the technique of shooting with the NS200 those rabbits wont know what has hit them the next time . We defo meet to do it again very soon and do what we planned with the Daystate mate Yeah Malc I do remember the badger I almost filled my pants the both times it jumped out at me . Me and Davy are planning a rabbiting session soon w
  3. Yes Malc your right i should. "But after many hours and many many cups of tea i finally managed to shoot a green fly out the air at 423 yards with my Chinese B2 rifle that i found in the local skip. It needed 64 mil dots of hold from my 30 / 30 reticle scope and the AO set to 10 yards on my new non AO scope. Examining the impact strikes though in the green flys body I noticed that the pellet must have still had 11 foot pounds of power remaining at 423 yards from its 8 foot pounds of muzzle energy". Now where else have i watched rubbish like that before just lately?????? Win
  4. LOL. I think me and you are on the same wave length tonight partner.
  5. Classic Davy. Love the reply. We missed so many because we couldnt stop thinking about you when we were missing you LOL. Anyway 4 of them were at 50 metres and i was using my springer, shooting from the standing unsupported position which i usually always manage to 1 hole group with normally. Wink wink.
  6. No we wouldnt do that partner. So noone and i mean noone ask Davy how he got on with his filming today and how the editing went (Oh sh-t) or he will be very mad. Si.
  7. Like i have always said on here. Thats the best spring gun out the box and nothing Ive seen or shot beats it as is comes. Lovely rifle buddy, Im well envious. Im over half way now for saving for mine too mate. Mine really loved FX 16 grain pellets and 1 made hole small diameter groups with them at 25 metres. May be worth a try buddy. Si.
  8. Nothing wrong with Davys dress sense. You should see what he wears when he stops at mine. Laura always borrows him her suspenders and stockings with her frilly nighty for bed LOL.
  9. If they are kits, dont forget a kits brain is about 15mm max when they are very young and will run off a bit if you dont get it right in the brain properly. For some reason kits always seem to kick more in my experience once shot well. Anyone else witnessed this? That one i shot with Davy and Chaz the other day at 43 metres on the golf course was hit with a .22 in the head cleanly and it still kicked and moved its legs even with its brains hanging out its skull. If you watch the footage again on our channel you see the zoomed in close up of the brains coming out its head but its le
  10. Yep thats fine Malc. Get it up pal please. And i told you if i said i missed 4 times and we needed 2 follow up shots they would believe me. Shall we tell them the truth now mate that i hit 22 out of 22 on camera or will that spoil the footage for them now????? sorry Malc. Wink wink Si.
  11. LOL I like it when you keep your eye on me Master Yoda, it means your worried LOL. I think that i will have to use the Ulta in the next HFT comp as the force flows strong through her. Cant do funny faces at the mo as Im on the work pc and it dont let me do them for some reason hence the LOL's. Si.
  12. Ummmmm mr Roger, Dont be naughty again or Ill have to smack your bottom. Where did this info come from? You need to check the HFT score again mr to see who beat who on the Sunday comp. Dont forget I was in another totally different shooting class (.22 class and not the recoiling class) to all the above mentioned personell. I was against any .22, so in my class I had pcps and springers to compete with. My score was 45 with Davys springer, hence me only being beaten in my class by a Daystate Panther (£1300s worth) and me coming second place with Wedge winning it with 46.
  13. Thanks Malc. I was there and Im still excited about seeing it LOL. Si.
  14. Thanks Phil, Yes mate as soon as we cracked the correct shooting tactic to match the style of shooting we were doing, i.e shooting a target where no range was actually known we started dropping them shot after shot without fail. Its surprizing how hard it actually is shooting something through a tv screen pointing your rifle just into a dark black hole where you dont actually see anything. It appeared that quarry at 25 metres looked at 35 -40 metres and quarry at 40 metres looked either 30 metres or the opersite 50+ metres, really confusing. Si.
  15. As soon as i get a collar for my Sidewinder I'll get some filming done Daz buddy. The collar i had with me was for my Panorama and was too tight for the Sidewinder. I'd forgotten that the last time i played with the unit it was on my springer (Damn). If the footage from last night though comes out anywhere near as good as it looked through the NS200 screen it will be really good viewing buddy. It really impressed me last night and did the job brilliantly. Si.
  16. Hi lads, Well I went out yesterday evening and met up with Malc Barnard from Country Pursuits TV and his friend Alex Honeywell a young HFT shooter and future England hope from the south of the country. After some nice pub food we went to 2 of Alex’s permissions to see what we could see in the form of airgun quarry. I personally had 2 long stalks of around 100 to 150 yards each which ended in 2 unsuccessful shots. One of the misses I could have kicked myself for and was due to not having a bipod fitted at the time and having to try and take the shot resting the rifle on my hand from
  17. Well in buddy. Keep it up. Si.
  18. Well in Skot. Good shooting pal. I really enjoyed reading that I could visualise it very easily. Si.
  19. Marty these meets are so good if i lived in Aderbeen and the meet was in Dover i would still go pal. See if you can share fuel etc buddy. Si.
  20. Ive owned a mark 1 Marty and i have to say its the most accurate rifle i have ever shot. Just about impossible to miss with it. Loved .177 Bisley magnums. The mark 1 suffers from leaks though so better go for a mark 2.
  21. I use one on my 100 S and its just brilliant. Made a brilliant rifle now a out of this world rifle in regards to balance and feel in the shoulder.
  22. If I was you mate I would save an extra £46 and get a Hawke Panorama EV 4-12x50 IR AO Rifle Scope I use one on my HW97KT and I the optics are fabulous. It would suit your springer very well.
  23. I think that Dave should just phone Addie as Addie as kindly requested and all will be sorted out between them both. Not worth escalating the post into a witch hunt as Criag says or a slating match. Both I'm sure are respectable gentlemen and will be able to put this to bed very easily and quickly between each other. My original point was, there should of been communications between the 2 parties involved before the post was written on here as it wasn't a question that was open ended it was a question stating why do so many recommend Addy and in a way where he was already guilty of
