  1. A great read that Tony pal. It sounded like you 2 had a blinder of a session there. Si.
  2. Nice read that Elliott bud . Ive had laser skip myself lots of time and missed due to it . Its not such a big problem with .177 but .22 can be a pain if it happens. Good on you for giving the rabbit the day off after your second attempt. Si.
  3. Lovely clip that Malc, Good to see more r10 fans getting great results in HFT. Si.
  4. Recoil from a spring piston rifle needs to go backwards at the shoulder and slightly up at the muzzle mate due to a process called JUMP. JUMP is the difference from the barrel being at the angle when the scope is elevated to the correct elevation to hit the target and where the pellet actually exits at the ANGLE of DEPARTURE which is a higher elevation than you would of aimed yourself. JUMP is taken out when you zero and keep a constant firing position when shooting a springer and the reason why you need a constant hold when shooting a springer or your shots go everywhere. If you f
  5. Congrats mate. A lovely rifle you have there. Very nice groups as well on that target board, I'm very impressed buddy . I have to agree too, the HW97KT is also now my favourite rifle and since getting it back from SFS I haven't used any of my pcps in the day time yet . Ill agree with the accuracy being almost as good as my HW100 S too when I manage to shoot it correctly. It out shoots me easily anyway. Si.
  6. Thanks everyone for the really lovely comments . Si.
  7. No others buddy if I'm honest. They all are accurate. Its just a case of finding the right pellet, fine detail calibration, especially the individual BC and plenty of practice. Then its just down to the shooter. Si.
  8. LoL Buddy I was trying to be a CRACK SHOT lol
  9. This is part 2 of the stage 2 tuned, Weihrauch HW97KT footage. In this episode you will see Si shooting rabbits on a horse paddock followed by both of us culling some wood pigeons for a farmer on our new permission. Please watch right to the end of the clip to watch the hilarious out takes. We hope that you enjoy the footage. Si and Davy
  10. Good truthful clip showing what happened Malc .. Flipping horse though . Thanks for the invite buddy. Si.
  11. Good read that Marty. Glad your old friend enjoyed himself with you. Good shooting too on the 60 + yarders. Si.
  12. 5.3 foot pounds at 75 yards is the retained energy. Plenty to kill a rabbit. 2.8 is at 140 yards Davy .
  13. Thanks lads . To be fair it was the rifle that made the shot capable . Without the great work Tony Wall did on it I would not of been able to attempt that shot. All credit should be sent to Sandwell Field Sports. Si.
  14. It is quieter but longer and not ideal for shooting in small spaces. To be fair though when we were shooting over the weekend without the extra silencer fitted the rabbits didn't hear the shots at all and even when one went over the others just looked about.
  15. Thanks partner . We both miss you very much already buddy so hurry up back . Its always great to spend my time shooting and learning from a professionally such as yourself buddy . Thanks a million and fear not, soon your TX200 will come back from Tony Wall like a tuned godless now he has his hands on it . Si.
  16. Hi lads, This is an episode of VerminHuntersTV that as been filmed over the last 3 to 4 weeks, both down in Swindon and up in Nottinghamshire. It starts off with Davy shooting feathered vermin on a dairy farm for the farmer in Wiltshire followed by rats in the night using his Sony scope camera and IR illuminator. We then switch to this weekend just gone (6th, 7th and 8th July 12) when Davy made the trip up to Nottinghamshire to stay with me and Laura as our guest. This weekend we visited 2 of my permissions where I have been asked by the owners to monitor and cull the ever grow
  17. Awesome Elliott buddy. Looks like you are getting on well with the springer. Si.
  18. Tony could tune a pro sport, of course he could, but doesn't really bother as he thinks that there isn't any real reason as they are very good out the box. He wont waist a customers money on little gain if he can help it. He as probably forgotten a lot more than other so called spring rifle tuners know.
  19. Anthoni fell out with me because I was filming with a Nitesite. He thinks that he owns me and now we are finished for good. Sent me a load of crap to my phone. Ive removed all his clips from VerminHuntersTV.
  20. That's the under statement of the decade.
  21. Umm it looks lovely Darryl buddy. Sell your TX200 and one of you HW97's pal and buy a stage 2 tuned HW97KT from Tony and keep the ProSport. Then you will have 2 of the best springers on the market until Feb when something new comes out that will blow both them and any other springer right out the water. Wink wink, cant say no more as I'm swore to secrecy and its not the new Walther before people start guessing Si.
  22. Yep Ive warned Tony off pal for you. Its all up to you now buddy. £530 for a HW97KT with full stage 2 tune he said.
