    Here is an accuracy test of Craig's custom .177 Theoben MFR as requested by him. He asked me to try and find the best pellet for his MFRs barrel and then test that pellet at 25 metres out to 70 metres on targets. He also wanted me to calibrate his scope and its mildots with the best pellets for the barrel. After trying 5 different brands of pellet with a scope that didn’t really do the rifle its full justice, 1 brand came out as a clear winner. No surprises which pellet was the best of the bunch. Watch as the test unfolds and see what this rifle is capable of achieving.

    I think a steady, consistent 10.9 foot pounds that lands where you aim is far better than a not so consistent 11.9 foot pounds. A well aimed 10.9 foot pounds will still kill humanely out to 55 metres no problems leaving 5.6 foot pounds in kinetic energy .177 pellet depending. Si.

    That looks an amazing rifle mate. I would defo like to try one out. I know after speaking to Tony Wall he does a few tweaks to a standard Hatsan PCP and he claims he turns them into something very special. Ive not shot and tested one but his word is good enough for me. Si.

    Yes Ill second that John as I never felt like any of my kit would disappear for good if left out. All attended were good honest people from here with a fun loving nature as witnessed when both mine and Darryl's turrets were turned 15 clicks right and 10 clicks down when not attended , sneaky little buggers LOL . Im sure that was Mr Thomas as its not the first time he has twisted my zero is it partner? .

    Id say shoot and enjoy your rifle Skot if your getting consistent good groups from it. I used Davy's HW97KT for HFT this Sunday just gone and that is straight out the box. It shot brilliantly, far better than I could shoot it. I wouldn't have scored many points more with my own I don't think, maybe no more than I did. A tune makes it smoother, less recoil and probably more consistent but if its shooting well with no problems then Id say be happy with it and save your money till its ready for a tune. Then you will get a new rifle back from Tony Wall believe you me, ask Pianoman

    I haven't looked just lately Rob but normally I buy L.J's for her Ultra off E Bay, wash them and lube them. They shoot very nicely in her rifle. Here is who i buy hers off thehammerfalls( 29874) Hope it helps you out buddy Si.
