The stage 2 tuned Weihrauch HW97KT with Si Pittaway
zini replied to zini's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Just what Tony advised mate really. I think Webley Accupell s may even group tighter than the H&N mate, but Ive only had it back 2 days now so haven't tested other pellets since its stage 2. I don't think the tune involves anything being done to the barrel so it should still love them too. Si. -
Great shooting Malc. Love the fly squatting. Nice to see another Ultra proving itself. Si.

What about donating them as a prize for the Hunting Life Meet in October buddy. All the proceeds that they will fetch will go towards a worthy charity. If you will I will pay out of my own pocket for the postage to my address. Thanks mate Si.

The stage 2 tuned Weihrauch HW97KT with Si Pittaway
zini posted a topic in General Airgun Discussion
Hi lads and lasses, This is part 1 of a 3 part episode that we at VerminHuntersTV are going to be doing over the next 3 to 4 weeks. This part shows the great work that Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports does when he stage 2 tunes a Weihrauch HW97KT spring piston rifle. Part 2 will show some long distance sub 12 foot pound shooting with the rifle and some more hunting. Part 3 will show a part of a tune being carried out and Tony will explain the differences in the stage 1 tune and the stage 2 tune. Enjoy and please Si and Davy. -
Yeah i was with Tony 2 days ago. Dont hold anything against him and the shop lads but the amount of work that he is getting now from the YouTube clip Ive done is staggering, and I mean staggering. They also have their own generated work too which is also alot. Tony as found a new man to work in the shop with him and he starts in 2 weeks time. He apparently is a brilliant machinist and Tony as seen his work and its pretty red hot. Just so you lads know. I'm not sure who it belongs to, but there is a stage 2 tuned HW in his shop waiting pick up. He cant get in touch with the

Welcome back mate . Good to have you back on board. Si.

Thanks Marty bud. Just up loading footage from today. It should be ready in the morning. Was out with the stage 2 tuned HW97KT today OMG its awesome. I shot a 22 shot group in .22 calibre, on camera at 26 metres and 19 went in a group smaller than a 5p piece . Try doing that with a .22 pcp and you will find it hard mate at that range. Shot a 3 shot group and it was the size of just 1 pellet at 26 metres as well. Shot a playing card side ways on at 26 metres in 1 shot too . What more can i say? Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports is a tuning legend .

Ummm I must be one of the irresponsible shooters then mate, sorry . I must have had different military training from you though . I killed a woody today clean out on camera with a highly tuned HW97KT springer further than the ranges you have stated there. If you can then why not? Watch this

Hi lads, This is an episode of VerminHuntersTV that is filmed over 2 entirely different days in 3 different locations. Part 1 is me back down at one of my works locations controlling the population of vermin there for the care taker. Part 2 is me out with Alex Honeywell and his father shooting rabbits on 2 of their permissions. I'd personally like to take this opportunity to thank Alex's dad and Alex for hosting me on their beautiful permissions. Enjoy and please don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe if you haven't already. Si and Davy

Very nice Darryl buddy as i said yesterday to you on the phone . Glad you see that its now better than the TX. Amazing what a bit of polishing and tinkering can do to a HW97. Si.

Yes it will work on other scope makes with a genetic mildot, you can also change the settings to work on other type mildot scopes. You could technically make it perfect for the mamba too if you were clever enough with the software. Si.

Nice work Darryl bud. Got my baby back last night from Tony. Zeroed it this morning and all i can say is its good. Si.

Mine and Davy's NS200 arrives tomorrow from Dave from NiteSite. A real gent to talk to and even said we can keep it due to us doing some good clips for him. He said he is a big fan of our channel. First time I've spoken to the bloke and he gives VerminHuntersTV a £600 unit for free. Now that's good services for our channel.

zini replied to Probuk's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips

Thumbs up pal.

Id advise him to buy a Weihrauch HW95K or has Flow as said a Weihrauch HW97K mate. They will do everything your gas ram will at a cheaper price and they will last a life time if well looked after. Si.

I bet he wished that was his mrs

That shirt pin challenge was completed at at 50 or 55 metres.

Thant shot deserves a big round of applause. That shot is hard enough in the prone position when using a pcp. Good on you lad.

LOL. Can't blame a guy for trying bud lol.

Gutted for you mate but know what your going through. I had the same problem for over 2 years with ny divorce. Sold everything to stay with Lj and it was the best move I ever mate. No rifle will ever take her place just as no rifle will ever replace your new Mrs Stevo. A rifle can be got at a later date where family can't. Chin up pal. If you haven't got a decent one again for Oct and the meet still come and you can lend my stage 2 tunes 97 for the weekend pal and your Mrs can share Ljs ultra. Your not putting us out mate. Just want to help out someone who is in my old situation. I was struggl

Really good write up Craig. Glad that the r10 is still making you happy. The offer is still there if you want to keep it and I'll keep your MFR buddy. If it fits you well, your shooting well with it and happy I'm happy to keep yours as i am happy with that too. Got some footage to post of a session or two with the MFR when i have edited it prob on Thursday mate. In the day I have currently a 100% shot to kill rate. Nights my range finding is not so good and so have missed 2 shots. Got bunnies and a magpie yesterday and a lovely 35 to 40 metre crow today straight throu
