  1. Milegajo, Why are you using your SMK for hunting pal when you have a HW97? Does the SMK fit you better buddy? If not then i would defo think about using the HW over the SMK. I would also bin the ammo your using and try H & N Field Target Trophy pellets if you do decide to use your HW97. Si.
  2. A crow is much easier mate. Head, neck, spine, organ all on. With crows I try to take head when ever possible but a heart shot drops them very well too. Si.
  3. I didn't want to risk missing the head and hitting the aluminium thing on the caretakers roof. He was with me and asked me not to damage it. If you notice the pellets comes into camera shot from the left of the picture as the camera was at the front of my car and i was towards the back when taking the shot so the aluminium thing was well within my view and I needed to be precise. A heart and lung shot was much safer Skot, and at the end of the day dead is dead buddy either way from the head or organ shot. Si.
  4. Thanks mate Much appreciated. Its the rifle that makes it easy though so all credit needs to go to Tony Wall.
  5. Come on Milegajo there is no need for those comments buddy. What's got your back up so much? I thought you and Mawders were mates LOL.
  6. Hi lads and lasses, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV you will see me back in the indoor range after popular demand putting my stage 2 tuned HW97KT through its paces shooting groups and seeing how many .22 calibre pellets I can fit under a 5p piece at 27 yards before shooting 3 woodies out side. I think that you will agree that this little rifle is as accurate as a PCP and is a great object to show the brilliant work that Tony Wall does at Sandwell Field Sports. Please enjoy and don’t forget to give it a thumbs up if you like it. Si & Davy.
  7. Haven't tried them mate but they are a good pellet so may well work.
  8. Awesome Davy . Springer shooting at its finest. Si.
  9. Ummm I think I did mention this some where in another thread last week partner but didn't expand on it. I had forgotten that you had kept that lump of lead. That was at 30 yards and in a slight breeze off a bipod and after we had identified which pellet suited Rogers barrel the best. That was the first group I shot with the rifle after Davy had set it up. I bet Roger as to be happy with that . And this is why I say time and time again that a .177 is no more accurate than a .22. You cant get any more accurate than pellet on pellet, its physically impossible. What is
  10. Welcome back my old Welsh sheep sh-gger . Stop leaving us for so long buddy. Laura sends her love to you and your family . Nice bag there as well buddy. Si.
  11. No point if its shooting accurately mate. It comes out the box like a tuned rifle. It will out shoot you now as it is so the best thing to do is just enjoy it pal. Si.
  12. Darryl thats the same scope as i have on my HW100. Normal mildot scope. Very good scope. Si.
  13. If you want a dedicated slow motion, full HD video and 14 million MP camera then you can try what i have just got. Panasonic DMC-TZ30EB-K Compact Camera - Black (14.1MP, 20x Optical Zoom) 3 inch LCD It films at 220 fps, I didn't even know it had the slow motion video recording until I got it. Picture quality is awesome as demonstrated in the photo I took of the woody. This photo is down graded as well to fit on the forum. This is at 900 quality when the original is at 4400 so loads better than this image. Si
  14. Agree totally! After seeing zini's video of his visit to SFS I knew my next springer was going to be from there. I was already in the market for a new springer and opted for the 95k. I just live break barrels. Anyway the other day I was shooting bottle tops off a plank of wood at 60 yards with my new SFS hw95k stage 1 tuned. That's accuracy, I'm not even that a good a shoot either. Davy as just had his TX200 SFS-ed and the magic of Tony Wall imparting on it after Davy reported a suspected error in its accuracy. It didn't take Tony long to find the various errors report them bac
  15. Nice one Marty, I hope to see you at the meet if your well enough. Si.
  16. If you want to do HFT or FT and have the extra money for charging kits ect I would say the majority of today's shooters would go straight to a PCP for the ease of its super accuracy and the recoilless feel. The AA S410 is a brilliant rifle and I was out with one last weekend testing one in .22 and even though I didn't show it on a recent clip I put on YouTube I filmed myself shoot a pellet on pellet group at 30 yards that DavyT63 dug out with his knife and it was 1 lump of lead . I also watched Davy shoot a 5 shot group at a lased 50 yards where 4 of the .22 pellets were covered by a
  17. Ive owned one of these scope and its a real nice scope. Well worth the money you are paying there. Si.
  18. Brilliant new buddy. I'm well made up for you. Si.
  19. Ha ha the ROM meister at last . You need to turn up to this one mate as Lauras Ultra wants to batter your r10 MK2 again like before . No sulking this time though ROM . Si.
  20. With practice a pin head at that range is achievable on a calm day. My 97 cuts a playing card side ways on at 27 yards in 1 shot I did it too.
  21. Hi lads and lasses, This is just a quick clip telling everyone about our new intended DVD that me and Davy are making. It will be our first DVD of a collection that we are doing based on the channel. Hopefully by doing this DVD it will also raise the profile of our channel and people in the larger shooting community will also see what we are all about. We are looking for guest shooters to send in 8 to 10 good clean kills in HD original format to assist in the making of the DVD. If you would like to assist and star along side me and Davy in the first VerminHuntersTV DVD then
  22. Its time all you die hard oldies started to use metres . Nothing wrong with metres. I think you use yards so your shots seem further away LOL . Joking. Si.
