Too technical for me Beagle sorry pal. I just shoot them and don't really know much about the internals buddy. He did say something about a guide in the back of the action. Its supposed to be good what ever he does.

Ghillies you not telling porkies are you buddy? .

Exactly Adam . Call me old fashion but how can anyone adjust onto a target at 200 yards that you cant even see it in your scope as you fire? Ok yes if there was a solid back ground as you get a ref point if someone is helping you but then again what would the group size be at 200 yards. Not 1 inch I know that.
-
To shoot at a target at 200 metres away Adam even in .177 you need to pack the mounts massively to be able to see the target on the reticle. This is what Emma did when she did her 200 metre shot with her HW100. Without this as you aim high to get the elevation needed (lob) you loose the view of the target out your reticle so cant adjust for POI. Also without the help of someone else how do you know where the pellet is impacting at 200 yards? No scope is good enough to pick out a impact at 200 yards from the firer so how do you know if you need to aim lower, higher, left or righ

I don't thinks that things are as clear cut as they seem there gentlemen. Dont want to spoil the fun but think about this: 1. The adjustments moved down closer to the target almost hitting it, but if your aiming into the sky at the top branches of a tree what have you to adjust too as you lower the elevation? Nothing at all so where did he get his shooting reference from? 2. From a 25 yard zero as stated the pellet at 200 yards has 1 foot pound of energy which wouldn't make such a deep hole in the back stop. 3. To hit a 200 yards target you need to aim at 6.8 yards or 248 inche

Yes he certainly does do mate. Ive had one off him myself straight out the box then tuned to stage 1. He says its the best rifle that HW do that he works his magic on. I got a .177 HW95K off him in 2009 and he tuned it for me and I took some very good shots with it in Catterick especially on woodies and rabbits at well over 50 metres. As all my rifles though it went due to various personal issues. I also had a Spectra Carbine off Tony too which was a highly tuned springer with thumb hole walnut stock. For me you just cant been SFS mate. I know people who as gone int

Thanks for the info mate. I'm sure Davy will be interested. My HW97KT is stage 1 tuned buddy but its getting stage 2 at the end of next week. Ive never shot or even seen a rifle at stage 2 but from reading up on it and speaking to Tony Wall there is quite a lot of work involved in it. Something is done to the rear of the action too which greatly reduces recoil and improves accuracy greatly . That I really need to see as its spot on at the minute mate and it takes targets at the same range as my HW100 S does. Si.

Just seen its .22. What pellets you using pal? Si.

Lovely looking rifle Adam. What calibre is it pal? I'm glad you are shooting a BSA aswell now. The barrels are amazing. Good write up too pal. Si.
-
Yes i bet Tony would be able to do something with it pal. Maybe even make new parts for it for you. I may have a drive up to see him instead of posting the rifle. Could go up together. Si.
-
Congrats pal. Lovely rifle too.
-
It can make a lot if difference pal depending on the depth of the lans and grooves of the barrel. It's all about fit and rotational spin and trying to avoid the pellet wobbling or in ballistical terms yaring.

Hi Roger, I'm really glad that you got your scope o.k pal and that you are happy with it buddy . As I told you over the weekend, Tony Wall calls it his favourite Hawke scope sold by Deben due to the optics quality and he is someone I really look up to myself. I'm sure it wont be long before you are knocking vermin over right left and Chelsea with it pal. Thanks for the kind words too pal, your a pretty cool guy yourself mate. Si.
-
Hi Elliott, Yeah, its just fantastic pal. As soon as I get it back from the stage 2 in a week or 2's time Ill be doing some vermin control with it and putting the results up on the channel. I'm also using it next week when shooting with Davy down in Wiltshire. They are just so good to shoot mate. I'm sure you will love yours when you get it. Si.

Best 3 springers IMO are AA ProSport straight out the box (No1). HW97K / KT (No2) HW 95K (No3) but best light weight springer by far. Si.

Its the finished Nite - Hunter Snyper Cam mate. Ive just picked up the new HD model yesterday from Nite - Hunter mate. Bloody awesome now, even better than before. Si.

Hi lads, Just a little tale from yesterday telling people what great customer services you get from Sandwell Field Sports. Well for all those that attended the Hunting Life Charity June meet you will be aware that my SFS tuned HW97KT had run in very well over the 2 or 3 thousand pellets Ive put through it since new. So well that it had actually settled at 13 foot pounds so was illegal to use and shoot with on the day in the HFT comp. Anyway yesterday i phoned up Tony at SFS and informed him of the situation and he said bring it straight in Si and Ill sort it for you there and

You have already learned how to rip people off at darts you dirty fly boy LOL. Si. -
Thanks lads. Si.
-
Yes true Rob, but if you want to shoot trajectory true you will have hold under from 20 to 30 yards and hold over from barrel to 13 yards and 35 to 40 yards unless you are happy with your standard impact. For HFT shooting a 15mm target you would probabley miss shooting like that buddy. Si.
