  1. Sales people that ring, always at meal times, and start by asking 'how are you today?'. People who don't say please and thank you. jehovas witnesses, and any other people who try to ram their beliefs down peoples throats. Shooters who never pick up their empty cartridges. People who carry their little lapdogs everywhere, and those who dress their Dogs up. 'Reality' TV shows.
  2. nah fed it to the ferrets, you would want a few of them if you were going to eat them, not much on them. I've eaten them, and I'd say the taste is pretty close to Woodcock & snipe.
  3. GEEK!!! Ye piss of Kenny you nerd.... :icon_redface:
  4. Would've been better with something for scale, but Golden Plover?
  5. Yeh, I did realise that mate. My point in all this is that nationally, Hare numbers have been slowly increasing over the last 2 decades. And it gets my back up when people are just too quick to blame other branches of fieldsports for an alleged decline of any animal. I was out last night and as usual, Hares were by far the most abundant animal I saw
  6. I'm sure many of us have heard farmers complain about Hare damage at some point. I was only saying I was suprised it hadn't been mentioned as a reason for some farmers wanting them controlled. I've known farmers who wouldn't tolerate more than a few on their land, and others who didn't mind how many there were. On the other hand, the Sheep round your way must be big f**kers to weigh over 1000kg!
  7. I think you're right malt, they don't see it as anything else other than normal. It's very sad though that this kind of behaviour goes on anywhere in the world, and no matter how you look at it, it's simply SICKENING
  8. ye follow the hounds find the foxes nd go bk nd shoot them in nite wankers. find your own foxes FFS yet another 'hunter' comes out with a statement that wouldn't be out of place coming from a dyed in the wool ANTI
  9. I'm suprised no one has yet mentioned one other reason why farmers want Hares controlled - the damage they do to crops. Claims on how much they eat differ slightly, but it's generally stated that 2-3 Hares eat as much as one Sheep. Therefore if 300 Hares are living on an estate, then that estate can support 100 less Sheep, unless expensive supplementary feed is provided.
  10. According to the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (and other conservation organisations), the big decline in Brown Hare numbers started in the late 1950's early 60's, due mostly to the reduction in agricultural diversity through intensified farming methods. Nationally, Brown Hare have been increasing since the 1980's and the introduction of agri-environment schemes (the increase has continued since the ban). This trend applies to Roe too. So overall, neither the Hare or Deer populations of the UK can be said to be f***ed up by GUNS, so please can we all stop blaming each other. T
  11. Cracking vid. Some guts and courage there. Just imagine if they were the size of a Dog, A Bull X wouldn't last long
  12. I was enjoying reading these insults, but 'piano wire and catgut'! FFS, all I can picture now is someone who looks like a length of knotted fishing line .
  13. Mediocre..............dont talk bloody nonsense................... were both f*****g shite!!! :clapper: Joking aside, as long as you enjoy the game, banter etc, it doesn't matter which teams are playing.
  14. This brings back memories! I bought one of these mail order when they first came out 'cos I liked the look of it. If I remember rightly, though not the most accurate, it wasn't a bad gun overall.
  15. Sounds nice. If you try it, I'd be interested to know how it turns out.
  16. Nicely side-stepped the top derby in the world mate.......Well done..... Whether the Glasgow derby's the 'Biggest' or not, they're two very mediocre teams

  21. You have just given him a whole raft of ideas for next years courses,cow-milking,goat-milking and when the appeal of those starts to pale PIG-milking(I wonder if pig cheese would sell???). I was thinking more along the lines of... Dog milking Can picture him making...... MUTTzarrella cheese
  22. That's one of my gripes about a lot of programmes, a good concept gets milked for all it's worth, until the result is something that's a world away from the original idea.
