It certainly hasn't scared me away from there, in fact I'm going to have a look there tonight cos there was a lot of Fox activity on the camera before it got blown round. keep your phone video camera ready just in case.............................that way if the ghost kills you the police will have some evidence  I'm taking the camcorder with nightshot. And if it kills me I'm gonna come back and haunt you cool.....just make plenty of noise before coming through the wall, wouldn't want you to catch me doing anything that might embarrass us both! It's ok rob, I

I mocked you artic when you claimed you used to live in a haunted house, and you now have my apology..... I hope the priests didn't excorcise your ghost and send it to me.

From what I can gather, the young girl was from a gypsy family

You might laugh, I always ridiculed everyone who thought ghosts exist, but what if it is the tormented ghost of the poor young girl, unable to find peace in the afterlife?
-
It isn't easy for me to post this , as I've poured scorn on other posts about ghosts existing, but I'm struggling to find a logical explanation for this. The background to the story is that Foxes regularly walk alongside a river on one of my patches, but there's one spot that they've always seemed to steer clear of, making a detour out into the field before returning to the bank further upstream. This was very evident the last two winters, by the ammount of tracks everywhere else except this one spot, which was always clear of even Rabbit or Bird tracks, just pure virgin snow. I've shot a fe

I got the priests to bless my house, it's quite a scary process I bet it was scary having priests in the house...............especially if you were dressed as an alter boy

Houdini also said that if there was an afterlife he would escape. He too has never been seen since. The Human mind can play some serious tricks on you. So can drugs. I'm out regularly at night alone, in places where there's been murders, tragic accidents, and where dozens of iron age burials were excavated, yet I've seen nothing that I'd say was a ghost. where the f'ck to you go hunting...cromwell street??? The 'Dark Side'

Both cats snuggled up on the sofa next to Elvis, watching X-factor??? The noise of someone running across the carpet will have been all the Fleas from the manky f***ing cats................

give us a few examples.....so we can see if you're just plain mental or not It all started with a knock on the door...................... When I opened it, there was a devil. a skeleton, and several ghosts, all carrying strange head like things that glowed and smelled like burning vegetables.......... I quickly composed myself (and carefully checked my underwear) and told them that they were wasting their time if they'd come to take me to the 'other side', they called me a c**nt and ran off........ All through the night I kept hearing the windows rattle, and the doorbell ring, but ther

One of the places I used to lamp years ago was definitely haunted - It was an area that was lamped by all the locals who had no permission. I had permission but only went there when I didn't have much time, as it was very close to where I lived. To get there I used to take a short cut through an old cemetary, and whenever I heard or saw someone (always 2 or more people, and often as many as 6) with dogs and lamps walking up the lane at the side, I'd get into the Rhododendrons and start groaning and wailing. Almost always the people ran like f***k, probably faster than their dogs. It was great

Come on Artic, those happenings were 12 months apart...............every October 31st when the local kids came trick or treating!!!
-
yeah I know, but how would you provide proof of that anywhere apart from someone seeing it with their own eyes? If I showed you a video with a ghost on it now you'd just say it was trick lighting or someone how altered the tape or something. Are you hiding something Rob? Come on now, if you've got proof, share it with us, you know no one'll laugh

Spot on! My father left a secured occupation to volunteer for the navy, and spent up to six months at a time never seeing daylight, as he was on a destroyer escorting the arctic convoys. He hardly ever spoke in detail about his experiences, but he was always determined that no Son of his should ever have to experience what he'd gone through.
-
You're probably spot on there. And to me, anyone who fought through WW2 and the horror and hardship that went with it, is a hero. The same goes for the lads in the Falklands, Iraq and Afghan too, I've nothing but respect for them. Saving private Ryan really made me glad I never had to endure anything like that. The series 'Pacific' showed how war changes ordinary people too. One of the scenes which sticks in my mind is when a taxi driver (who'd been in the European theatre) refused to take payment from the Marine, and said that he'd had it good compared to those in the Pacific, and at lea

your right I was taught the same bye my granda who you may remember Jo ball and we never leave anything behind and I was taught if your going to kill an animal do it as quick as possible Good advice that......Kill it quick before it f***ing bites you! Joking aside though, thankfully It's not anywhere near as bad around my way as it was when I started out. I used to lamp on a spot which was high up and had a view for miles, and most nights it was like something out of star wars, all the light sabres flashing around! That was back in the days when you had to make your own lamp, and they w

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item23152619d8 I've been thinking about getting one of those. Saw them working in the Stove showroom last year and they seemed to really circulate the heat. I'm sure I saw them advertised somewhere only a couple of weeks ago for just over £70.

Now now Rob, don't get touchy . Anyone would think you'd seen a ghost

Don't look like Otter tracks, but don't think that because it's in a town that Otters won't travel along it. To be honest it looks like someones pressed the backs of three fingers into the mud. This is a set of Otter tracks, though you don't always find them as clear as this, they're usually quite easy to distinguish.
