  1. The wifes canary is now around 9 years old, since we've had him he's been a star and whistles his heart out when the mood gets him, he even copied a wolf whistle from my phone ring tone I have now come across somone in the area who breeds cannaries and has a few youngsters ready to go, we was looking to bring in another cock bird but is there a way of sexing them before they actually start to whistle? the breeder has told me he has no idea what sex they are... I remember seeing a al qaeda clip on a site orgish.com a few years back showing a guy preparing himself to drive a lorry full of explosives into some compound on a suicide mission. Not sure if he was brainwashed or what he beleived but he was genuinly celebrating and excited about his and others demise . It just shows there's no arse nipping with these people when it comes to taking their own life for their own beleifs. the sad thing is this people are planning a whole world of hurt as we sit and type. Dangerouse times in a dangerouse world I'm afraid. just wish this country would wake
  3. Trust me! if you have birds coming into breeding condition and Cats are sitting on the roof there's a 100% problem, I'm confident the reason my birds went down pretty late this year because of this. Most birds don't go down to breed when they're spooked out expecially natural pairs. I couldn't understand why the birds was coming into condition one day and after the next evening they was spooked out and jumpy, after I put the lamp across the garden one evening it was then obviouse what the culprit was. I certainly havn't got a problem wethering a Goshawk on a bow in the garden infront of an
  4. The neighbours got a cat which liked to spend some evening sitting on top of my weatherings and I'm sure on top pf the aviaries, my aviaries are a good 60 yds from her house and during the day I never saw head nor tail of the bloody thing, when it got dark it was straight down my aviaries spooking the birds out. I never knew this until a couple of late evenings when I stuck the lamp out of the window and there it was. thankfully it now seems to have got the message and has never crossed the border on to my land for a good while now.........

as you jknow them and other tirings have always been the backbone to all my manning sessions , still fascinates me how some people prefer to man them hanging upside down straight out of the aviary mate .

  12. thats what I was saying Moll! not far off £20 or should I say to be exact £17.00 for a couple which is cheapish and a fair income per night if you have around 200 caravans in. I based the price as all the people I know who stay in caravans are either in two's or more much like yourselves was. I never said he was a complete nob just daft like most of us in the area .
  13. prices have gone up alot since you stayed Moll in 2007/08 you're right from a Business point of view he's not daft or he wouldn't be doing aswel as he does. the inlaws knows the family well and boy I've heard some Horror stories the way he goes off on one for silly things. thankfully when you stayed over he was a diamond geezer .

  21. I'm all into Inovation and think some is good but somtimes I think the old techniques and furniture is still the best, basically "if its not busted why fix it" point of view still got leather mews jesses on the the male I took up this year arctic but must say I love the braided jesses, I'll get them put on him in time but there's no rush just yet. as for the Bullets I know a few people who use them and swear by them. me personaly I'm not that fussed, its not hard to take a swivel off and re-thread some flying jesses on a bird, it takes a bit more time than the Bullet type but I can live w
