There is no luck involved my pups get fresh raw meat and I never leave meat down all day with pups that's bad husbandry ... What they don't eat gets lifted and given to the adult dogs as a treat ........ -

Wrong way around YOU CANT feed chicken bones from the oven as they splinter ... Boiled is fine .......

The problem with feeding a high protein dry and meat together is that the dog will struggle to process the extra protein and will expend lots of internal energy getting rid of the excess protein .... So instead of just turning good grub into muscle tendons ligaments bone and general growth the body is working doubly hard to get rid of the protein that it can't process .......

Pile the raw beef and chicken into it fella add some mixed veg and pasta and you won't go far wrong ... Add a raw egg every couple of days and a tin of sardines a few times a week also ......

Does it have to be a small dog ? Retired greyhounds make brilliant pets ... They will happily sleep all day so are no problems but are also always ready for a walk .......

I have always fed raw meat to pups from weaning to adulthood without any problems whatsoever ... Dogs have a far more acidic stomach than humans which means they can cope with raw meat easily ...... Patterdale pups three weeks old on raw meat .........
