Ok so I suppose it's a competition rather than a sport then? But if you compete at something doesn't it then become a sport ? However competing at a dog show couldn't be classed as a sport could it ... Oh I don't know it's all to much for my tiny brain to comprehend .......

I don't believe any dog shows are a sport and I see where your coming from reference the bodybuilding but surely the instant you step into a stage and compete against other bodybuilder to win a trophy then it becomes a sport ? Oh and please stop sending pictures of you in your last competition .........

The dictionary defines sport as ..... an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. So I suppose anything could be classed as a sport .........

I used to think how lucky am I but when you can't even walk the dogs without putting up a fallow or roe or muntjack or hare and there's a keeper or horse rider or dog walker around every tree then it becomes a fecking pain in the arse ........

In my opinion it's a sport because he is competing against other body builders to be the best on that day ... To win the prize ... To be number one ........

Surely a sport is something you compete at and a hobby is something you do for fun like stick making or pottery ... If you are on a stage competing to win a prize against other body builders then that must be a sport ... If your training in the gym for yourself then it's a hobby ... Gymnasts win or lose by the points the judges give them much the same as bodybuilding but gymnastics is classed as a sport .........

I haven't bought countryman a weekly in a long long time but whenever I pick it up its full of silly pictures of lurchers and terriers in daft poses or wearing silly hats or jackets ... There are plenty of magazines that cater for that malarkey ... The hunting posts are very wishy washy and skirt over a proper days hunting with very few action shots ... There is nothing about trapping or snaring and in my opinion is to politically correct and to afraid to promote hunting in the raw form it should be represented at ..........

Fair point. So without access to a gym or free weights what can I do that works my shoulders? You can get training bands mate lengths of rubber that you double or treble etc to make the resistance harder ... You can do side laterals ... Front raises ... Presses etc .......
