As said shimano is best but recently I baught a cheap budget baitunner to put on a cheap feeder rod and leave in the back of landy for when I fancy a quick trip before/after work and found it to be shockingly well made for the money....     Wow you are very lucky! It's a great time of year to watch them I sit out every night I'm at home in summer with the bat detector they are amazing creatures. Sounds like you need to treat yourself to one lol.

  12. Pellet probe is seperate to cocking lever. To cock the hammer just pull the side lever back - you can also decock the gun holding the hammer lever back, pulling the trigger and letting the hammer slowly de tension. You can also get a 2 shot clip.

  16. What about getting into ferreting? Good way to get to know landownets and prove your a decent responsable guy and opens doors for shooting further down the line? Also great sport too.
