  2. Looks very nice and very safe too.
  3. Same here my mate nicknamed them dumdums
  4. I struggle too but downloaded photobucket app on my phone and you can copy them from there and paste them onto your reply.
  5. Cheers Mark! When wandering I normally cock them with the gun broken and close it when I'm about to fire. Black powder carts are a pound each tho and 15 for delivery even if it's just one box!
  6. Exactly, you wouldn't take a Ferrari off roading ha ha!
  7. Ha ha! Baikal records where they called? Had a box given years ago and Christ they where loud and the pattern was doghnut shaped - Once I cut one open the shot was all different sizes! And some where even water droplet and grain of rice shaped!
  8. Another plus for shotguns are that you can use historical guns in the field, here's one of my old shotguns a late 1800,s Birmingham built hammer gun. ...... And here is the old thing in action (black powder proof only) http://s1066.photobucket.com/user/tomburras/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-05/C2820242-19EE-4C33-BFBD-9D4F772664D9_zpslhtkwlln.mp4.html The sound, smell and smoke all add to the fun. Can be tricky getting a second shot in tho when your surrounded by smoke lol. I can't think of any properly old airguns that can be used like their modern counterparts - can't beat
  9. Harmless experience and opinion sharing it's all good. Doesn't matter what you use we share common ground! And should enjoy together!
  10. Anyway lol it doesn't matter what gun you use the most impotent thing is you enjoy it.
  11. Also chuck/roll a stone away from the tree they are hiding round the back of.
  12. U got a scope yet LH if not iv got a redundant 2-6x32 mil dot hawke redundant off the imp. Pm me your address I'll get it posted!
  13. Yeah pix, nice one and my shooting buddy is going to be told "I've had an idea..." Might be better to wait until winter to drop your new idea to him. The middle of July might not be the best time to try it out Ha ha yes agreed lol. Sadly I lost my shooting partner to cancer aged 56 no doubt he's looking down laughing!
  14. Bless him! Lucky lad with a hw100! At his age I got a BSA meteor and loved it, he must be over the moon!
  15. Soudns good nicepix my old shooting partner did this too.
  16. In spring before the leaves have arrived theres a small wood on on farm I shoot on and an airgun is superb to pick them off as they come in to roost and they just keep coming unaware, then the airgun is perfect. Small bags but must admit miles more satisfying than if using a shotgun.
