Hw110 changed to a hw100, Rws excalibure changed to air arms s410 and a falcon fn19 changed to a bsa ultra. Regretted all 3 lol

I'd love an impact but can't afford one. Iv had had what I thaught was the best and changed it and was thinking it was an upgrade. But it was a didsapointment. Be careful.

I been looking at doing a diy nv spotter too, so looking forwards to seeing how your build goes. Did you use an E700 camera? I took my old 700tvl camera out of my scope mounted setup and swapped it for an E700 and it totally transformed it.

That is a really nice looking rifle! I wish there where more airguns out there with straight hand stock's. Nice groups too.

I can't help as I have zero experience with sea trout but I know a spot not far from us on the river U R E Tim. I catch plenty of salmon parr and see the odd salmon. I imagine the sea trout are in there? Pm me if your interested.

At the end of this I hope your son gets a great classic hw springer to use, the old hw springers are amazing build quality and set me off to a lifetime of good memories using them. It sounds a great project to you have there and setting your son off to a great start with a proper quality rifle the way my dad did too.

Stock is looking good! Is that an ltd440 in the background.

Awsome deal them old Belgian folders are great too. I not seen a side by side on with a skeleton stock before. How are the bores? Most Iv see in shops are pitted badly. I bet your chuffed with them 3. The last reasonable conditioned side by side I saw for sale in the shop was £250 with slight pitting.

Sounds like your getting on well with that gun - looks a great bit of kit. I agree that the stock done in black soft touch would look amazing! Interesting little gun these!

My choice would be the 110. My 100 in .177 left me tonight. The 110 in .177 is the best gun iv ever owed. For all the above reasons.

I love seeing this. I Baught my gat from Henry kranks in the mid 1990,'s i remember it was £12.50 it took ages to save up for. I made a range in my dad's garage. I swear you could have shoveled the lead up at the back of the garage and weighed it in. Had years of fun in there popping tin cans. Good times!

I can understand people having several old guns. Nostalgia is also part of the shooting hobby. It's nice to own the old guns that Braught so much enjoyment years ago and to use them again is great regardless of calibre and collecting is a hobby for some. I took my brother out with an old webley bolt action on pheasents last year. He bloody loved it. Regarding owning several air guns I'm not sure but if they make you happy then great! Enjoying your hobby and appriciating your guns that's what it's all about.

No problem - I'm glad you can get out now with your new gun! Sorry i was out i was on a 12 hour night shift ? I had one of these older ones in my late teens in .22 and it was a a great gun and used to get plenty with it. A really nice looking gun too. How does it shoot?

Hw110 is the quietest pcp iv ever owned.

I keep my perm to myself. I treat treat them with massive respect, I'm honoured to have mine. I have done the sharing thing once and was shafted massively through my own trust. Never again, I lost one place. I understand I could loose them any time. Enjoy your perms and save up for a gun.

Hi rimfireboy sorry to get a bit off topic but iv fitted a weaver rail to my 20 bore hushpower and would like to ask, would this be any good?.... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F201476998442 And do you find it was a big help when you fitted one? Cheers.

Above the wier? If so how did you do. I always struggled above it.
-
Nice choice! Miles better than a hatsan. Wish you happy shooting with it!

Good luck tiger!

The bream turn up at Kirkstall abbey stretch some nice ones too around 3-4lbs. I used to fish the aire daily as I grew up near it (Bramley) the newly stretch was amazing until the wier was removed. Last year I did a few nights on the aire and for the first year ever i had many bootlace eels. Really chuffed about that!
