  1. I wouldn't have a mount master given along with the older richter optik stuff. I had same problem with a mount master on a BSA lightening swapped mounts round it zerod OK. But every time I used it it needed re-zeroing. It held while I used it but when I took it out again back to square 1. I had to re-zero ever time i used it. Bin it and buy a better scope!
  2. Try taking it off and swap mounts round. Iv had trouble with them scopes too.
  3. I was watching a fishing program tonight from youtube on the telly this evening and this auto loaded itself as the next video. Not my style of fishing but a really interesting watch with a cold beer or 2. Thaught I'd put it up. Really enjoyed it. Well worth a watch if serious carp fishing is your thing..... https://youtu.be/Zhg1eGqnYXs
  4. Old but good thread! I loved my hw80,s when I owned them and used them a lot. I didn't touch any internally but I hear before the ownership of my last one I owned it was short stroked by the old owner with a tbt piston extension and polished. It was a (slight) improvement. It still had a slow but predictable shot cycle and was a great gun. I think cragman off here now owns it. (I prefer a quick and snappy shot cycle) I have seen 3 lightened, glided and short stroked pistons on ebay on a few rare occasions over the couple of years I was checking. Not sure who made them, But iv not looked recen

Philpot them them old .410s are a gem. There's some belting old .410,'s around. I once passed a gunshop called g&t at ingoldmells I have never seen such a selection of stunning belgian .410 folding guns there was loads. If I was after one I'd ring to see what they have. They had mint s/s for 150 quid with mirror bores. Watched out for seriously shagged barrels in .410!!!

While your at it adding sgc cost and covenience wise no more effort. On my recent renewel I sold my FAC airgun and handed in my FAC. And my sub 12 HW 100 I hardly shoot it but keep it incase I have a change of heart. The hushpower 20 is all I own nowadays shotgun wise but it's ace and 3 shot. Your welcome to borrow it anytime too I often don't go shooting for a couple of weeks to be honest. Feels cheapo racking that rickerty Black plastic but practical and one hell of a vermin basher.

Seriously!, when you put your varation in (you might as well add shotgun next time) I'll rfd my hushpower 20 bore to you at my cost for a week or two, have a go. You would be converted! Genuine offer ?
  10. That's where I took my young nephews last year. They loved it minnow fishing. I have many memories from this area over the years. Great place!

Sounds like it's worth you getting a hushpower shotgun.
  12. Very hit and miss! Some big fish in there but typicall aire - infested with minnows! Some nice bream, People catch a few suprises from there.
  13. Hi flynndog one small chub. The river was well up so it was difficult. The wier is st Anne's mills on Kirkstall road in Leeds.
  14. They are great to see I can't wait for the aire to have fish like that. Iv been out for a wander today with my rod and thaught I'd stick a pic up of the fish pass Iv been around today.....
  15. Yep very true but I like to use my old vintage rod sometimes it's strangely satisfying. Airflo do a nice little kit for £70 for a 4 weight rod. I'll get on at the start of next season I bet it would be a nice rod for small rivers.
  16. My faveroute fly rod is a 1970,'s glass fly rod labled by a leeds tackle shop that closed in the early 80,'s coupled with a budget reel but good fly line (airflo) I paid a tenner for the rod of eBay about 5 years ago and not much more for the reel.
  17. That sounds good, the work the EA are doing with the fish passes is great. I suspect iv seen salmon jumping wiers a few times this year too on the Aire.
  18. Hi I don't know I Baught mine from ebay but it was same as this. If you email them and ask if you can send payment via PayPal?
