    Mepps comet no. 4 (brass and red) has been exellent for my spinning for river perch and chub to lake district pike id never go without trying one of theese On canal abu tormentor or terminator been my faveroute plugs.

    Good going and well done! Good luck for tommorow too. It was sad last year to see the blackbirds nest constantly harrased by them in my garden an they never fledged any young so maybe took there eggs as they where laid. Go get the buggers!

    Matty is a star and will do anything to help anyone! This is unrelated to torches I know but....... Last week I had a disaster where matty came to the rescue. I was driving down the road in my defender when all of a sudden my engine made some horrific noises and died. After fumbling around under the bonnet I couldn't see anything obvious so I gave him a ring, he instantly stopped what he was doing and jumped into his transit van and drove the 20 + miles to come help me. then he worked out my timing belt had snapped (oh fu*k!!!)     Ultraffire 501b is already loved by air gunners as standard, but paint your refractor black and add matts lens you will be amazed. While out lamping with severel mates of mine with a tracer lamp with red filter I turned my torch on and there reply was wtf is that! They not used the tracer since. A conventional lamp removes all but red light but these are red light anyway. With the hid white lamp rabbits do one but with this they are unphased by the torch and iv watched them carry on eating grass as normal not bothered at all. Nice cheap lamp set up that costs next to nothing!

    Every hawks scope if had on a springer has shifted poi even with top quality one piece mounts used with the arestor pin used too, only whitetail classic has kept its zero from day one.
