  1. Think iv met this Mick Dadd at a game fair, he was abserlutely umberlivable at making purse nets, do you know roughly what he would charge? cheers
  2. The regged ultra sounds very good, perhaps im been a bit protective of the RWS best to try both and then decide as everyone has there own preferance to guns
  3. Iv tried to find it but i cant, do you have a link? does anyone know who to contact about a repair and should it deffinately work to 8 foot afterwards? cheers for the replies.
  4. hmmm apart from accuracy why? I can understand its compact for shooting from 4x4 but excalibure is more than accurate enough as standard has more shots per fill (75 in sweet spot sub 12) and multishot (7) mine is nearly pellet on pellet at 40 yd. had it for 6 years of abuse in all weathers and no rust It has only had fill probe seal changed since I owned it too. not biast honest Its your decision but must admit ultra is good too, but excalibure is a also a thing of bueaty and accuracy is more than enough, but if you swap you will also inherit a condition that will cause you to
  5. why is it every mk1 8 foot locator box iv baught over the years never picks up at 8 foot? the 3 iv have had all pick up at 3 - 4 feet. is this a common problem? can the one i have now be repaired and if so roughly what does this cost? does yours pick up at 8 foot? cheers

  7. never used them but they stuck in my memory, see link below: http://www.shootingcards.co.uk/ http://www.shootingcards.co.uk/Store/index.php they look quite impressive
  8. Id swap any day, had both and the excalibure has miles better build quality and looks. Excalibure has double the shot count and multishot too. Accuracy wise my standard excalibure is silly accurate but cant comment on a regged ultra. Have a try then decide I know ultras have a good following and rightly so but the excalibure is also a fantastic gun.
  9. Try chambers gun spares and follow the links to a mercury no doubt they will have one.
  10. I bloody hope not. Im not bothered about eating horse meat, but misleading people into eating it is very wrong. Missleading people into eating dogs is another thing all together.
  11. Cant put pic up but can email some pics if needed? Just pm me your email address. Cheers tom.
  12. Hi all im putting my smk 78 up for swaps for a springer. I got it brand new 2 weeks ago and then fitted a t r robb tuning kit ( tuning kit cost 57 quid) and it also has a full t r robb seal kit spare (cost 18 quid) I put qd studs in stock for sling and bipod, also a Custom brass/wood bolt that iv not fitted. Its only fired the 4 co2 capsules that came with the gun and it also comes with all the standard parts removed from tuning kit fitted. This has been chronod at 11 ftlbs and has only been used in garden (less than 70 shots) Im looking to swap for a spring gun and collection/pick up onl

  21. Hi Andy yesterday i polished out an smk 78 and the internals where seriously rough. You could see all the spiral like internal machining marks in the hammer cylendar from when it was made, the hammer was the same too. when slid up and down they grated really badly. Iv polished it out with wet and dry but in a few days when the stuff arives ill be polishing it out perfect with a drill and 12 bore mops with brasso. Its suprising how much difference a bit of time with the wet and dry how smoother it has become inside allready, it shoots great now. Its a shame the chinese factory doesn
