  1. I stand by my comments of hoping you do not get another dog, until you have grown up, and are settled.
  2. Maybe you should get a cat, or a hamster ? Or better yet, one of those little electric hamsters?
  3. See though s 2 before Baw, both good

    gat guns

Still have mine from when i was a kids, my mum found it while clearing out some crap. I can remember shooting my first pigeon with it lol, little red dart, straight in the breast, the bird just looked down at it stuck in its chest, and flew off. I was sure I had dinner that time lol.
  5. Done many of the things mentioned lol, thanks for the memorys, also another version of knock down ginger (knock door run) we did was to use a gat gun and 2 air pistols to shot the door opposite our house, from our bedroom window, so it went "knock knock knock" lol did it for a week or so, before they noticed all the pellets stuck in the door lol, and called the police, who in seconds worked out were the pellets were coming from
  6. i'll put a second vote in for brinsea, I now use octagons 20s for all incubation, cracking bit of kit for the price.
  7. Plant them now, it will give them time to throw some roots out before they sprout. They are a herbaceous hardy perennial, so no problem about it being too early, they wont start getting away until the soil is warm enough. as has been said, raised beds, with good free draining soil is a must for good crops, and they take years to settle in and throw a good crop, so dont move them about, choose the right place first time. Hense its not really a good idea to plant them in pots, and put out later.
  8. for me, the very best of runs are when the dog goes it alone. But Equally, I have not problem running them doubled up either. It doesnt have to be one, or the other imho. both have there places.
  9. Had a gun done like that for a few years, sure it would scratch, like any stock, but didnt fade much, did dull a little, but nothing major, and never peeled.
  10. Horrid looking things, these fat bull types. Hope the local chavs dont start keeping this as well as pressas.
  11. The Atlantic is a bit nippy this morning.

  12. now my boys, when they are old enough, would be a different story.
  13. No one takes my dogs out, but me. A good friend has asked a few ties, but as accidents can, and do happen, if it happened on his watch, it would be the end of a friendship.
  14. First 4 are beauts. Love these type of dogs from places where its still survival of the fittest, and best hunters.
  15. My mate 22amp one didnt last the season, and burnt out, at that price, I'm glad I didnt get one.
  16. Your going to have to eat them at some point the clan will be happy once dinner is served
  17. They are slower so start up ect than the normal striker, I'm going to wait for a decent led one to come out.
  18. Its not true. The southern deer are normally larger due to better diet and better weather, than there Scottish cousins.

    Roe

One of the large groups I see regular, I have seen all season, from September, till now. They are in a very urban area, so I don't know if that affects there numbers. The second group, I see less, but certainly saw them early season, september, though it is probably the same group, as only about 3 miles apart.
  22. Mate, if you missed all 4, how did you know it was 2 dogs and 2 vixens ?
  23. Put your cocks away lads, and get the thread back on track.
  24. Never seen it, but I also belive a good dog could hold one for long enough.
