  1. I also have to travel for good numbers, but still get out local for 4 runs and 1 rabbit lol, prob doing that later. If you live in yorkshire, it can't be too far from some good spots? Seen some great bags taken in yorkshire, not in person, but on here and other sites, you just need to keep trying new spots.
  2. I disagree, I would get her out on more, now she is catching, finnish this season off, but obviously don't over run her.
  3. Well done on the first catch, and dont worry about the eating it part, the pup will soon grow out of it. Mine ate his second one, then never again, he retrived the first, live to hand. He then started air humping above his catches, the strange beast, but grew out of that after a few months.
  4. Blowing a hollie out there, time to head out.

  5. From what I'm lead to believe, all first crosses are not feathered, after the first cross, its pretty random.
  6. Nice one, hopefully the recall will improve as you two bond.
  7. Looks like some sort of earth star (Geastrum species)
  8. There not all like that, some might even be able to spell too.
  9. A few thousand years of hunting instinct.
  10. I bet it is quite easy to get permission with a hawk in tow too. Shame the lurcher game has such a bad name.
  11. Same here, Kes has a lot to awnser too lol.
  12. That has to be a great way to hunt :-) looks a cracking team
  13. No, hang around, this dog swapping is a lot more common than you might think, just read a few posts in the for sale section and you'll see. Fecking throw away society we live in.
  14. You know you spin the big cone bit(screw it in or out) to change the beam width right ? The whole thing spins, as if unscrewing to change a bulb. If you didnt know that, thats how I do it. Stick to a 50w bulb though, as 100w doesnt seem to make much difference, but uses the battery up a lot quicker. What lofti said lol
  15. Yep, like the other 2 have said, flashing it of the edge, or hedge is where you sort of flicker the lamp up and down with your wrist as the rabbit is approaching the hedge, they will oftern turn along the hedge, rather that plow into it if you do that. I recon its because the moving light makes them think something is already in there escape route.
  16. Mine had a lot in his first and second year, but luckily learned to hold back a little, now he has a couple a season, but nothing bad, just muscle damage or the odd smashed toe nail, like tonight :-/
  17. No, what he said was that 100 pieces of crap released into the cuntryside is no problem, they cause no harm, yadda yadda yadda. Then as many know, this isn't true, and this shit is dangerous to live stock , wildlife and pets (your running dogs, er, hence this thread) He is still unable to accept that his littering is a bit shitty, and that he should just shut up about it and move on, as really, there isn't an excuse for it. He is wrong, litter is litter what ever the reason, weathers its his 100 pieces of crap or get them outs discarded Stella cans, litter is litter, and is a cunti
  18. Grow up RFYL your the one bringing your mate up all the time, no one else has mentioned it, just what you did after the event. As for being called a prick, I think youll find you resorted to play ground name calling first.
  19. I would have to say you are the prick mate, judging by your posts.
  20. See, I can not belive that, the wolf must of been a handy hunting partner from the get go, or else it would of been just another nice warm coat.
  21. Good luck finding them mate, keep the pressure on.
