LOL, the truth is that any man who has terriers but passes on some ratting is mad IMO, and I don't think FD is mad. I'd love to get back into it. I'm even thinking of making a smoker.

what about the chocolate shit that was sold Saucy you have the memory of a gold fish. The last time you said I sold Chocolate terriers I explained that in 30 years I've bred 4 chocolate terriers . 2 I kept and 2 I gave to friends. So f**k off and confuse some other poor c**t with some one else please.

ive yet to see any for sale at the same level as blacks in fact ive never seen one for sale all were gifted im not saying it doesnt happen but its not common to see them on the conveyor belt and hopefully it stays that way. Money and dogs equals dishonesty.your right jiggy money shouldn't come into it...even Neil knows that lol Can't believe you had to dig up an 8 month old thread to make a dig at me Wedgey. Can you not come up with something original of your own and try and bad mouth me ? Try it, go on ?

Now that I've read it again I see that last years Aprils 1st has made me realise two things. 1. Last years was funnier, I'll have to up the game next year. 2. I'm still on a hunting forum with a bunch of perverts, LOL.

Without wishing to curse mine or anyone dogs I can't help but feel that Alabama Rot is being a little hyped ? 2 cases in Ireland in 2 years and 60 cases in the UK in 5 years ? It'll be interesting to see if the veterinary fraternity come up with an inoculation and ask us all to get our dogs done ???

Lakeland dog wanted for stud. Must be K.C. registered and proven worker. No younger than 12 months. My Patterdale bitch only came into heat today (1st - 4th - 17) so probably will be ready end of next week. Good money waiting for suitable dog. Will consider a Border stud either.

Most definitely not what I was saying anyways.

I often have cloves of garlic in their water all the time. The garlic actually grows and just lift it out when changing the water and put it back in then. Anything like the garlic capsules, cod liver oil capsules and apple cider vinegar I usually feed it a week on and a week off. I'm not sure if that's the correct procedure but it's how I do it.

You tell us ? If you use your two year old as a bench mark then tell us is she the ideal size for your type of hunting. If she's too small and game is pushing her out of the way then you might need a bigger terrier. If she struggles to reach her game then that answers that question about your pup who's obviously going to be bigger. OR, have you the variety of hunting about you that you might need different sized terriers ? Only you can answer those questions. I've seen lads ridiculed for keeping large terriers yet when you hunt with them they nearly always get their quarry. Li

In theory bloodsucking parasites and worms don't find their host as hospitable if there's garlic running through the veins. There's plenty of homeopathic wormers etc. nowadays that are garlic based. Personally I don't use them preferring to use a proper wormer but I use garlic as a day to day conditioner. But like I say, garlic thins the blood so I wouldn't use it while dogs are working hard. Top Pigeon men swear by garlic as a supplement and their game's as hard as any and a clove of garlic floating in young poultry's water makes a big difference in their survival rate. But, they're birds

High And Low Points Of The Season

Yep, been there ,done that. Always trust them no matter what. Until you know 100 % that they are untrustworthy and then it's Slan. -
Seen them they look like they'd cripple ya before you broke em in and looks like if you stepped in a puddle little own a streems you'd get wet feet Fell boots are leather so they're not water proof, so what. If I didn't wear mine for a couple of weeks I'd leave them submerged in a barrel of water over night to soften them and put them on the next morning to go hunting. We're not made of sugar. I'd love to see some one treating leather boots using deer antler. I've only ever heard of it, never seen it. As has been said good cleaning and dubbing or polish adds years to any boots.

The show fraternity put an inch or two of newspaper in the bottom of a bad travelers crate to ensure it arrives at the show with it's hair do still perfect so it must work. The only ones I've had that worked themselves in to a fit where ones who knew they were going hunting, and that's not good either. Leaving your hunt in the vehicle is no good. JMHO but bringing a pup in a vehicle as much as possible is just as important as lead training and stock breaking to getting a well socialised youngster. I even know of one poultry fancier who puts his chickens in their carrying boxes and brings

Have given my dogs garlic in the Summer time for years now to keep on top of parasites. It thins the blood but if you're not working them I can't see a problem. The secret is trying to get the dog to take it as they hate the smell (fair play to you Dytkos if they'll eat the flakes) so I use the odourless tablets designed for humans. I sometimes put whole cloves in their water but some take them out and throw them away.

Because of generations of being hatched in incubators some species of birds have nearly lost all mothering instinct. A big pity IMO and if I was serious about a certain species I'd definitely be trying for natural hatching. Gamefowl are going down the same route. Years ago gamekeepers appreciated the mothering instinct of the game hen but now most game fowl are hatched out artificially. Personally I breed mine as nature intended. The Gouldian finch is another example. Fanciers use Bengalese hens to hatch and rear their Gouldians.

Even if you don't buy and sell dogs looking through the for sale adds can be entertainment in itself. There's someone here in Ireland seems to be churning out "GreenGrass Lurchers" and in their add state they don't need much exercise. LOL, how have these people even got dogs ?
