Not so bad, a breed that couldn't be any more destroyed than it already is has won it. Anyone out there who has American Cockers can now tell their wives they can afford that villa in Spain.

It's Official, Foxes Are Not Afraid Of Terriers.

Good post Stevolad. I'm convinced that all hunted quarry don't feel threatened until just before they're caught or put under serious pressure. 7 or 8 years ago I remember just after moving of from a meet the huntsman spotted a vixen moving along just in front of the hounds as they were drawing along a ditch. They soon marked her but as they were marking the huntsman spotted the dog fox nearby. He was large and real orange in colour with a really white chest. He soon got the hounds onto the fox and they screamed away. He needed to get through wire and threw his wire cutters to someone who -
At least you boys had a reason to be drunk, .

You've crossed a line Old Dog by mentioning the rugby. Not sporting.

There used to be a forum Liam about 12 or 13 years ago called "The BullTerrier Times." You'd have loved it, loads of history on the old Irish Staffords etc. It was ran by a lad from London,(I think) called Mario and one day he asked did anyone use their Staffs on the lamp for foxes ? Me and my big mouth replied to not ask such stupid questions because if a Staff could catch a fox then foxes would be extinct. A stupid question. A couple of days later I was exercising about 5 terriers with that pit bull ,Pepper (she was around 30 lbs) when the terriers mobbed a fox in a ditch but didn't hol -

It's an old wives tale that a fox will approach a bitch in heat and manys a man claims to have tied a hot bitch to a tree and let the fox cover her. But the truth is that dogs are canines and foxes are vulpines. It can't happen. It's like us always slagging of the Welsh for being sheep shaggers but in truth they don't do it that often. -

In the last 10 or so years there's been reports from farmers seeing packs of foxes trying to pull down calves. -
It's wrong for me to say this about another human being FD but wouldn't it be justice if you heard of her catching a dose of leptospirosis ? Let's face it, she was putting others in danger with her ignorance. You hear it more and more every year when the River Cottage wannabees get a few chickens to live of the land and one morning go out to find Henrietta and Harriot in their coop with their heads gone. They don't be long picking up the phone to ring ya then. I love it when I hear of folk getting into keeping some small livestock because sooner or later they're going to get a life lesson

That;s like the time I asked a woman if she wanted to go dogging next Sunday. I even suggested she bring her sister and her 20 year old daughter. She must have been an anti as she went mad and called me a perv. Her loss though as I caught two foxes with my dogs.

It's a bit early for Cuckoos ,but there you go Bryan, a couple of early Cuckoos have arrived on our shores. Personally I thought the bullshit regarding hunting dogs might stop when Pot Fill got caught as a serious criminal but it looks like the bullshit continues in N.I. But business is business and if they keep getting media attention this time next year they'll probably be driving brand new Hybrids.

A c**t has some use, these wannabee terrier men don't.

Please do Corkman. I wasn't pushed out of the IWTF. I left, everyone knows that. Carry on please.

Who's John Welch ???? Apologies for not explaining my question. You've told us all about Mr John Winch and how much you personally know about him and then couldn't be bothered to even know his name. I've a funny feeling the first time you heard of Mr Winch was when you read P3D first post. Another thing I find funny is how you ,P3D and Corkman are always the ones questioning the breeding of black lines when none of ye keep them. Even though ,Stopend, you did ask a couple of men who keep proper lines of black terriers for pups and they reclined. So, you boys debate the topic of the blac

I am just curious Neil did you have any concerns when your daughter was offered this information? As a horse owner myself living way out in the sticks we are constantly confronted by farm tractors with some massive equipment in tow! At the moment we are schooling a mare and foal and to be honest have them to the side of the lane as far as possible! Being in the centre of the road would personally give me nightmares! I know what some people think of cyclists riding two abreast! Meeting two gypsy cobs in the centre of the road would surely raise their hackles! Think I will stick to the side lol

As I've only ever put up one photo of my terriers on the WWW I'll presume this is the scandalous one you speak off. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/363201-dixie/

My daughter rides race horses and one trainer she rode out for has her gallops half a mile up the road from the yard. On her first day hacking up the road the trainer told her to ride in the middle of the road. If she stayed in to the side the traffic wouldn't slow down. By riding in the middle they had no choice.

If you think any of this is funny mate then perhaps your values arnt what you'd have us believe .The scouser wasn't harmed ,just a word to the wise was enough .He on the other hand threatened to do me and mine . Sweeper was well within hius rights to tell me to f**k off but luckily he has values too . I hope your never in the position mate as out stinks ,plays on your mind to distraction until finally something has to give . I'm sure it does stink FD. Not knowing who has their hands on the terrier would be a worry. A terrier I bred and would love back is in a mates yard but he's stoppe

I've never criticized the white terriers of Cork. It's just a pity the odd few are ending up in messers hands now and again. I know there's good men and dogs in Cork. That's why I spent a couple of days down there recently.

Very good. Going by his muzzle he's been bolted a time or two, LOL.

I agree 100% that plenty of good terriermen have sold terriers and hopefully they'll continue to do so or so many new comers might have no chance to join the fancy. But what's your opinion on those who breed from 4 or 5 bitches a year, fake pedigrees and repeat matings that didn't work out the first time ? Would you bother with such folk ?
