Great pics. Someone mentioned somewhere on the Hunting Life recently that they seen Hares boxing. I seen it this morning, Irish hares. A farmer two days ago told me they seen leverets.

to day talking to a mate who lives by me , is picking up a bitch boerboel pup next week from London . he said it from top import working lines, and its cost him £ 1600 quid , bloody hell my 2 dogs only cost £ 40 quid lol. he had it as guard dog, he works away a lot so his mrs is on her own fair bit. he got male dogs there all ready (hounds) he was advised to get a bitch , as a male boerboel can be very dominant, so bitch be easier to keep with the other dogs . I still think a bel/mal or good gsd be better and cheaper to buy ..!! That price wouldn't surprise me as my mates dog

You hit the nail on the head Marshman in the first sentence in that they can be a pain in the arse. And that's what most lads are not able for. If a man has patience and can resist the temptation of trying a youngster there's absolutely nothing wrong with bringing a sapling along. Mind you, a day out with hounds is not the place for a youngster IMO.

Jigsaw, if that was in England someone would stock it with carp and open a dayticket fishery, LOL. Seriously though, up here in Meath our pot holes are famous and I could show you roads covered in those craters.

well any breed of dog over 100lb going to get bad hips+ elbows , HD was very bad in bullmastiffs, and there temps were to docile, they why I came out of the breed, you spend more time at the vets with them . the B/mal I reckon if well bred would make hell of a guard dog, after seeing them on the vids. they don't loose there hold and got very strong jaw and strong dogs for there size. lets face it a bite of a farm collie would fekin hurt never mind a 70lb B/mal , and be more healthy and vicious than most boerboels . I have no idea about the health of the Boerboel (Farmers Bulldog

To me it looked like a Bullmastiff cross or similar. My mates Boerboels are 6 stone at 4 months. That dog looked too racey.

To small for a Boerboel IMO and they usually docked, but not always. I've a friend breeds them. They're direct SA imports.
