I could gladly live with a pest like those. We don't have them over here and it's pity. A fish that you can take in the Winter on a nymph is very tempting.

Nick Valentine (Ryeford Chase) Phone Number?
neil cooney replied to krawnden's topic in Hunting With Hounds
Yes, Cop on to yourself Longdog, coming on to the WWW saying that all other packs break the law. Fool. Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think so, making assumptions about other peoples packs is usually a sign of a fool . Anybody who follows hounds regularly knows that to assess a pack you must see it more than a few times to make an assumption whether it's a good well managed pack or not. Have you been out with all those other packs several times ? If you have, I take my hat off to you. I doubt it though. -
Must have a big bloody handbag, for both game and dogs.

Some of the best wheatens alive are up your country General. Look for a small one.

Most Of Neighbours Fences Are Down This Morning

They say a tornado is like a marriage. At first there's a lot of sucking and blowing and then you loose your house. It's been very rough here all day, not nice. -
IMO that's a disused badger sett.

Old just trap it to spite the stupid law what about gamekeepers trapping up after the seasonYou mean the pheasants that they paid for and worked hard for? They cheeky b*****ds eh!! There fault for realising thousands of birds into the wild Definitely a contender for THL top 10 most stupid.

Pity that, crying shame there's not more of them. The working Glen is rarer than the Panda.

Dido, no we couldn't.

OK, no bother, but you could give me the benefit of the doubt and tell us all about it. Also, I think you'll find I very rarely comment on other folks hunts. Theories Yes, hunts No.

Should Night Vision And Thermal Imaging Been Banned From Hunting
neil cooney replied to Fox finder's topic in General Talk
JMHO but lads nowadays want instant success instead of learning the ropes first. There's lads nowadays getting their DSC today and shooting their first 12 pointer tomorrow or buying their first lamp and rifle today and sitting in a pub tomorrow showing their mates the 10 foxes they shot. There's a very serious lack of fieldcraft nowadays among those who call themselves hunters (and any type of lamping is not hunting, it's pest control). Hunting is outwitting an animal on it's terms. Watching quarry go about their business in the only security they have left ,the dark, with an artificial ai- 62 replies

I've only ever seen one well bred strongdog that could be collared up, go to ground, find and be dug too. In fact it's the only strongdog I've ever heard of that could do it. He was a red staff called Dutch. Same size as a 16lb fell terrier but was 22 lbs weight. If you broke in behind him he'd be lying on his back with his four legs straight up against the roof of the tube and he'd have his mouth full to the back teeth. But also had the paper work to prove that he was also qualified to be called a strongdog. There's a clown a few miles from me who owns a pub and a few years ago fancied hi

Did you dig to that wheaten often and was it baying for those 16 hours ? Neil what you up to now ? Genuine questions . Tell us about her style of work ?

Except for the fact it is completely illegal. I am sure that if you got nicked then the "no harm" defence will work lol. Sadly not. But you can shoot them In the law of the land and IMO if an animal is a pest and going to be eaten then so be it. It was said they'd be used for Christmas The client must have some very expensive shrubbery as I've yet to meet anyone who wasn't happy to have such a beautiful bird in their garden. Five dozen of them might be a different thing though, in that case I'd be asking the keeper to do a better job at holding his birds.

Fair play to you Londog, it's obvious you've been out with every other pack to make such a statement . Or is there just a slight chance that you haven't a clue what you're talking about to slander every other pack other than the only one you've been out with ? Or is there just a slight chance that you're an anti ? I think Mr Valentine should be careful as to who he allows to see his pack. -

Probably no harm if they're a problem and as long as your not depriving some keeper of his lively hood. But to be fair I couldn't think of a bird that wouldn't be easier to scare and stay away.

My bad, wrong locomotive.

do you think it would've been more sexy if she was dancing in her underwear to a Dubliners song Neil ? lol LOL, NOW there's an image. This was the only song of her's I liked.

I agree with BGD, why's this in the terrier section ? I've read the same story before but I read it was a British General and the conflict was on an Indian or Pakistani border. Anyhows, as far as I know there's an ammo manufacturer in Indiana in the states who've been putting a drop of pigs blood into their ballistic tips a couple of years now.

LOL, 40 is an exaggeration, it was usually around the 20 mark. Interesting you should mention humans because I've heard it said a few times that the second child is always more likely to be ill than the first. Not my theory or anything but I've heard it said.

Pleasing to the eye but not the ear.

He's only a young man so I hope he wins his battle. He comes over in his show as a bit excitable but he does the best shore fishing shows IMO.

In a couple of my first posts I did say that it's all a matter of opinion and one thing I do know about breeding is that the recipe for success can't be worked out by a formula on a piece of paper. The formula is usually to put the best to the best and hope for the best and the classroom is the field. Yes I agree that the old timers of yesterday were their own worst enemies and a lot of their methods were cruel to say the least. Thankfully those days are gone. But the sort of men I'm talking about a lot of them are still active dog men and their theories on breeding were well and truly tes

Does a hare ever turn around and face the dog ? Silly comparison. I'm not for one second saying anything bad about the dog in the video as I know that dogs in that game don't get a reputation by accident. I just think that nearly every time the hare turned she turned on her own sod, not because the dog made her. The dog didn't drive at her once and wet conditions is harder on the hare than a dog that's over 20 inches tall. The hare was slowed down by the ditch and that allowed the dog to kill her, it's as simple as that and I'm only saying it as I see it.
