    My sentiments exactly. That's one of the most dreadful bits of journalism I've ever read, in fact I didn't finish reading it. Mentioning the fact that she was going to an expensive school is the journalists way of saying she was well to do. Dreadful. My own daughter's been riding horses since a young age and it's a reality that she can get badly injured or worse. But you can't stop them doing what they love. I hope that young girl had a good and happy life, I'm sure she did. God bless her..

    Sounds like you answered your own question. The fish were not really taking but half heartily attacking your lure. Cutting the tail short brought their mouth closer to the hook. Now give yourself 20 lashed of a whip for fishing for Brown Trout using a lure .
