Personally i disagree with this.......some " stars " or " heroes " whatever you want to call them bring a lot to peoples lives they can be very inspirational i cant see why someone wouldnt be upset at their passing........i dont know Muhammed Ali,i did manage to meet him for 30 seconds once and he whispered something in my ear that i sadly never understood .....but when he dies i,ll find it a very sad day and will most probably shed a tear.......if that makes me a daft c**t then so be it i have no shame

Im not 100% but i dont think you can.....i know most of them used to do a " lurcher night " or even a " terrier night " on the odd occcasion....say first Monday of the month or something similar.......id guess its still the same.

Depends what part of the country you live....theres none in or around London that i do know.....plenty of registered dogs run at flapping tracks and prize money has gone up over the years i know they never used to have vets at trackside but i think they have to now,i suppose like most things money is an issue even having a vet in attendance for 3 or 4 hours twice a week is not cheap im not sure who foots the bill for that either. In all fairness mate i can only really understand about half of what your saying.......i honestly cant make head nor tail of whatever the spectrum of the rainbows all about .......but its probably me im not the brightest of sparks....... I think sometimes we overcomplicate what breeding for performance/work essentially is......ive always felt a basic understanding of genetic inheritance plus an in depth understanding of the sport/work itself and the dogs we are breeding,along with basic common sense will usually give good results........no athletic dog was ever bred in a laboratory so all th

It IS a theory because we know that genetics just doesnt work in a robotic fashion...we know this in human life and animal.......the idea within breeding over many generations is to produce a dog who on the average of what his line has to offer is of the highest possible quality......that doesnt mean theres not going to be some very high quality individuals as well as some very low quality individuals,hence the importance on breeding selection...........those dogs of very low quality could be low quality in any area be it physical or mental...........this romantic theory we all love to have of

Wish id seen this before we went !!......ended up in about 6 different pubs ( and i dont even drink ) we settled on some gaff called Dempseys in the end right opposite the castle.......thinking id get in with some of the locals we went in some mad sounding place Cwyb bach something or other earlier in the day.... it was full of jocks !! Anyway very enjoyable weekend,nice friendly folk....certainly a much busier place than i remember it years ago...but very nice all the same The downside was having to watch the Hammers.....we won 2 nil but its none too pleasant to watch under fat sam. Im off following the Hammers against Cardiff sunday i just wondered if anyone knew the layout of Cardiff city centre and any quiet out the way pubs where a few low key cockneys might be able to watch the Leeds/Southampton game tomorrow without getting mullered My mrs booked a hotel for us smack bang in the middle of the city centre thinking they played at the Millenium stadium .....so any sporty type pubs round there that anyone knows of ?....quieter the better !...

Certainly a sad ending and you have to feel sorry for the fella......but i dont see why when someone dies folk come out with all these catchy phrases about how brave or heroic a person was.....why was this fella brave ? he was shot in an instant while sat in a car,and survived....its great that he survived but i dont see whats brave about it.......yes he suffered an extremely traumatic event and lost his sight,thats terrible.......then lost his mrs,thats terrible........but within 2 years has decided to quit on his own life and his childrens lives....i dont see anything brave about that at all

Not to get involved in you chaps debate.......but i can never understand comments like this one above........i mean,what exactly do you think we should be doing ? Our country has been invaded by people we dont know,dont like and half the time cant communicate with..............at least allow us to have a bit of a whinge and a moan about it now and again.....................or does it make us racists if we actually dare to say we dont like something thats happening under our noses !

The thing is Dunc....man has bred dogs supposedly for the better....not for the worse............the Lurcher is a fine animal bred from a cross of breeds whos great qualities were utilised in order to create a fine animal......you wouldnt use a Great Dane or a Corgi to make a Lurcher would you because they dont possess the traits needed......Likewise the apbt doesnt possess any of the qualities in abundance needed to create a good pet dog .....none whatsoever.........so this would just be backward breeding and i dont feel that can ever be condoned............now if you wanted to create a form

Possibly....i guess some folk see whatever they want to see........if god is of benefit to folk and adds something to their life i cant see a problem with that............pushing a glass across a toy board i cant see any benefit in that but again,each to their own.......
