  1. Cant say as ive ever watched a horror film that actually put the shits up me but anything with kids savaging folk always gets my attention......a film called Children of the Corn and another one similar i forget the name of it always made me wish id tried harder when my kids were small Not strictly a horror but Silence of the Lambs always gets you thinking as well.

Classic !....though i agree following fish is a pretty dumb thing to do.
  3. Pair of fannies............didnt stop my Harry ........i actually think ive got a crush on Harry Redknapp im half tempted to start stalking him into the job ! The Poyet kid looks a bit lightweight to me he wont kick the ball anywhere near high and hard enough for fatman.
  4. Yes,he came on for 5 minutes yesterday....................his own father didnt want him so clever Sam took him !
  5. I always thought he might end up at a big club ...................nah not for me i still havent given up on Harry
  6. Theres probably more hunting laws and restrictions in Cyprus than anywhere else.....................just nobody pays any attention to them
  7. Not that i remember it was just grass.
  8. You wasnt there mate ..........ive heard many lifelong fans say that week hurt them more than any other week they,ve been following the club.....i tend to agree. I agree it was a good game yesterday, atmosphere was good, performance was good......but remember this is West Ham we,re talking about we dont do optimism
  9. Thats it mate yes...............you cant tell from that pic but it slopes about 10/12 feet one side to the other.....must be a good 100 metres across................................................really pretty aint it
  10. Went round the ol boys earlier armed with pics and video that a very decent member off here had sent me but unfortunately the dog wasnt for him, little bit too strong and robust but if i was on the lookout for a working terrier id certainly be on his ear, cracking dog and a nice gesture thankyou mate We did speak about a Greyhound but again just a little bit too much dog really he just wants something small and light.....we looked at a load of dogs on some of these rehoming websites so he could get an idea ....he,s got his eye on a few little Jack Russells so we,ll take it from there, dont k
  11. Believe it or not................its called Earth Formation Artwork !!!.....................I live a few minutes from there and have seen them digging away over the last 6 months or so......they invite artists from all over to design them, this one was given a 50k grant but they will be popping up all over the country apparently........it will eventually be planted out with trees/shrubs along the sloping sides,we had notice of all the details about 5 years ago when planning permission was first applied for but thought they,d changed their minds up till 6 months ago when they started it.........
  12. Gorgeous.......nice bit of Kleftiko cant beat it........or Stifado if you like your beef......if you like an Olive you,ll love it .............if i had to choose id pick Greek above anywhere for food but like any place its how its cooked.................. I did once book a weeks holiday on the spur of the moment just to go to a certain restaurant i liked in Rhodes thats how much i like it
  13. nah not me mate i want to get into the culture of any place i go......when in Rome and all that..... sorry i wasnt getting at you.....sounded a bit harsh when i read it back Did you try the big skewers of meat in Brazil mate?? Tried it in a restaurant here bloody lovely it was Certainly did mate they call them Rodizio,s which is like an all you can eat meat buffet type thing.....................the ol cholestorol took a bit of a hammering that month

  16. Like I said..., I don't think football's any less popular up here than anywhere else....certainly in Europe. There's a wee bit of grass right out the front of me and it's been full of lads, up to maybe about 10 or 11 year old, out playing football all summer. No different to what it would have looked like when I grew up in the 70's/80's. I know a few guys that coach kids teams and they take them abroad for tournaments etc. The one thing they all comment on is the standard of facilities in the likes of Holland, Belgium, Germany etc. We definetely lack accessible facilities for kids. There's
  17. Yep thats what i was getting at was are the youngsters still as keen as ever................i would of thought with the emphasis becoming more on bringing through young talent now would be the time yet it seems a while since the last really good Scottish player......when you remember back to years gone by and some of the great players Scotland produced it just seems odd why they have all dried up i just wondered whats changed.
  18. whwt do you eat when out cyprus , gnasher ? Traditional Cypriot food.............same as if im in China id eat traditional Chinese food......................but i live in England.
  19. no no no nothing like that.................the only reason i mentioned the ol boy is so any busybody f****r looking in wouldnt think im after a dog
  20. He wouldnt like a big dog he strokes this little Patterdale that walks by his place and his minds set on a small Terrier type i think......i reckon he likes the idea of sticking the dog under his arm and walk in for a pint and a game of domino,s myself ....cheers for the kind words chaps he,s a nice ol boy given me years of great advice and stories he just seemed to lose his way when his wife went which i know is common but just have to do our bit i suppose...........a walk round the rescues i think it is then
  21. We all want our own club to do well and we are no different down at West Ham but if he stayed here 20 years and won 10 League Titles Allardyce will never be a West Ham man......he committed the cardinal sin that will never be forgiven when he humiliated the kids at Forest last year. The long ball game will continue regardless whether Carrol plays or not Allardyce doesnt know any other way and is too arrogant to learn he will just throw out some good looking statistics throughout the season that make it look like we are not quite as bad as we actually are.... he forgets that fans WATCH foot
  22. He,s a healthy old boy who still gets about but at 82 you have to be sensible about it......just a bit of company down to the paper shop and a reason to get over the park of an aftenoon............he,s proper old school.... wouldnt dare admit he,s lonely but i know he,d love to have a little dog to cuddle up to in front of the telly. Your right Walshie a pup would be too much......but on the other hand he just needs motivation to get out, once he,s out theres no stopping him so a dog thats too old might hold him back believe it or not...............maybe its just a case of walking him round
  23. With some of the good old traditional british food we have it beats me why folk opt for this cheap nasty foreign slop anyway......particularly in these times of supposedly supporting our own kind.....not to mention healthy living !......
