Jimmy Tibbs predicted Fury to win...Joe Gallagher predicted a Fury win on points and Carl Froch predicted a Fury win by stoppage. I dont know where you,ve had that from.....Jimmy Tibbs thought he would get stopped......Froch said live on the tv program he thought he would get beat.....Joe Gallagher ive no idea.......the only one of the 4 fighters/ex fighters on the live program who thought he would win was Amir Khan.

I totally agree.......unfortunately some sportsmen like to step away from what they are good at occasionally and view their opinions in other walks of life......while we,re all entitled to our views when you know they are going to be scrutinized by the watching world its probably better to keep them to yourself.....unless you think you are the second coming of Muhammad Ali of course. -
its f****n hilarious watching the way folks minds work. The reality is a Fury v Joshua fight shouldnt even be spoken about yet Joshua is a 2 year pro.... as a 2 year pro Fury was fighting mini cab drivers......let Fury make some proper money and Joshua prove if he is world title material..........if they are both at the top of their game in a few years belts wont matter.

Sad as it is to say i think belts/titles are becoming less and less important.....people are not stupid they know who the top fighters are do you think if Fury fought Joshua next year it would sell any less if there were no belts involved ?....of course it wouldnt.....20/30 years ago nobody was interested in non title fights but with 70 odd world title belts up for grabs they was always going to be de-valued at some point.....i know men who have been deeply involved in the sport for many years who dont even know what some of the titles even are ......i still dont really know what a wbc interna

Have you been to turkey with England ? I know a few that rarely miss a England game but took the fa advice and missed turkey a few year ago , although they could have organised tickets if I remember correctly Yes mate i went to the qualifier in 2003 when Beckham missed the penalty but we qualified anyway.......there was trouble then but i have a Turkish/Cypriot mate who invited me over there for a Fenerbache/Galatasaray game once.........ive been in some hostile atmospheres in football grounds but this took some beating !

Police interview ......for crying out loud it will be an embarrasment as a nation if anything ever came of this im not a fan of Fury at all he seems a bit of an idiot but so what he won the title in the boxing ring when the nation didnt expect or particularly want him to........as long as he,s not running round committing crimes then anything he gets apart from a pat on the back is just sour grapes in my opinion

Its a subject i find interesting and although Jukel makes some interesting points re school teachers etc i have to say i agree with Dogfox.....very few elite athletes are going to be put out of their stride to any significant degree by being looked at !....." the staredown " was once an essential part of a fight be it at the weigh in or the referees instructions....it was seen as a sign of weakness if a fighter didnt hold the stare of an opponent whereas today it is not so important as its generally accepted that theres nothing to really be gained from it if you are not of a frail mindset.....

Yes but what reason is there to think the best Mike Tyson would beat anybody else ? because the best Mike Tyson looked great bashing up a bunch of journeymen ?.......i didnt say he was a failure as a human being thats not for me to decide but as a boxing fan i watched him fail against the very highest level of opponents of his era.......should i ignore that just because its Mike Tyson ?......it is what it is......who cares about his upbringing anymore than who cares about Buster Douglas upbringing he was a boxer and should ultimately be judged as such......." what might have been " could apply

Its probably not in keeping with todays dogooder mentality but if ever there was a reason to get shot of a dog this is surely it......if its just a pet dog whos role in life is to merely be a companion then who needs that why would anyone put up with that for 10 - 15 years you,ve made the effort and tried to get it sorted....it didnt work thats it you,ve done your bit......why do we feel like we are stuck with whatever nature throws up at us its a dog/property not a child just get rid of it and get another one......im not trying to sound all harsh and tough its just common sense surely you did

Yeah and a 6ft 6 "Giant" has just dominated the sport for a decade so I don't get your point, if you're good enough you're big enough IMO. Yes but thats very close to " if your big enough your good enough " and thats dangerous for the sport......my point is that those giants of yesterday were rarely able to beat the best fighters out there......today they can dominate them,you think its because those giants today are better fighters i dont agree i think its simply because the level of fighters these days is so poor that the saying can now be changed to " a very average biggun will beat a good

A case can be made many different ways for many different fighters as to who was the best of the best. I am not trying to convince anyone to agree with me but I am yet to see someone who I think could beat mike Tyson at his best and there is no way to prove that wrong and no way for me to prove it right and I am very stubborn so it is pointless for me to continue posting on this thread... Dont worry me ol son i say the same about my West Ham but no c**t believes me either

Oh i hope my comment didnt sound arsey i think its great a youngster learning how to behave around animals.......what i meant was i probably couldnt keep a pet dog indoors but i could keep a working animal outside that came indoors occasionally.........similarly i could keep aviary birds but couldnt keep a bird caged....doesnt mean to say plenty of dogs/birds dont flourish in those situations though......anyway you know what i mean
