The art of a cowards survival is not letting things get to the point where cowardice can be exposed On the beer front just come back from Cyprus a pal of mine who has a bar there took me to a cracking little place called The Old Fishing Shack in Paphos ive never seen as many beers in my life we was acting like dicks and chucking money about so the old boy who owns it pulled out some bottles of rare Thomas Hardy ale......well well well it put all the others in the shade it was absolutely gorgeous i dont know if any of you chaps have had it before ?......he had loads of ales id never heard o

Not to sound too harsh on the lad but should 8 miles in 2 hours carrying 25kg be a particularly difficult task for a strong healthy young man to do regardless of weather when they can stay hydrated throughout ?........its not much more than a fast walk........sounds to me like the boy must of had some kind of medical problem that already existed....no ? Id like to ask the army lads here.....is there some kind of underlying competitive nature in these type of exercises whereby a lad may be pushing for the fastest time ?......and therefore pushing too hard.....its the only thing i can think

Personally i think the fat man is a decent appointment.......after all said and done he,s pretty much the only one who wanted it so good luck to him.........it wont matter about his style of play or obsession with meaningless statistics after all said and done the difference between following your club and following your country is you have to watch your club every week so theres more emphasis on watching football thats pleasing to the eye but nobody gives a f**k how the national team play we only watch them a handful of times per year the importance is on winning and nothing else......how tha

My guess would be some dont know the difference between folk laughing with you and folk laughing at you !.......as for Sunderland who knows and who cares.

Cor blimey people dont still smoke that nasty shit do they......i always gave them sort of folk a bit of a swerve i like to be on the ball and have folk around me who are the same most people ive known that were into that game seemed to have a vacant hazey look with no get up and go about them......not my cuppa tea but each to their own.......them pisshead drinkers on the other hand ive found to be pretty cool people as it happens

Just to add a bit of interest in tonights fights thought id have a bit of an accumulator so had......Rigondeaux/Williams/Flannagan/Abraham/Wilder........and it amounted to 0.47/1 !! Just about sums things up theres some poor fights being made at a high level lately.

Theres always been connections between fighters/trainers and gamedogs one that springs to mind was the gr sire of Limeys Tug who was owned by Marvin Haglers trainers... closer to home Ricky Hattons former trainer was brother of the old Pit Bull News editor Joe Graham.....few other well known fighters had a healthy respect for a game dog.

Its not a good look that.......hand in hand with a treacle.....juggling a blanket, bottle and glasses in the other hand......so its either a mincers little picnic basket or make her glug it out the bottle

Normally id defend English football but after that last showing im still so disgusted by the way we played its hard to make a case for them.....but when you look at the facts England were abysmal against a poor team in a tournament that Scotland could not even get into that must be as embarrassing for Scotland as it is for England ? As for individual players how many Scots play at the very highest level of the game which at the end of the day the premier league/champions league is.......Gareth Bale represents a historically small footballing nation but still competes at the highest level o

Oh i beg your pardon i thought it was the same.......ive been used to drinking orange juice in boozers all my life ive got a lot to learn As long as i can avoid lager at all costs.....and spirits......or liqueurs.....or sparkly champagne type shit that makes you pull silly faces. Basically i just want a maaaans drink that i can growl between glugs and pull the look off......it just dont work with orange juice !

Nice little tipple Pedigree, it's one of the few i'll buy in the supermarket. Another favorite would be Theakstons Old Peculiar and Old Tom is a cracker too but mind how you go with it...! These can be bought in most off licences and supermarkets along with Hobgoblin etc. On a slightly different note (or pallet!) give some of the European beers a go Gnash, Duval is excellent and I do like Krek cherry beer, sounds strange i know and though I usually can't stand flavored anything, this one's got me hooked. you'll see it on the shelves with a paper wrap around. Thing is Gnash, whether it

He'd be the last person I'd want BUT I can see the logic in that post.... I'd trust Allardyce to steadily improve on things, more than any other name... And in me writing that it brings home all the more how bad things really are... Exactly we had him when we hit rock bottom at West Ham and he got us back on our feet as he,s done wherever he,s been.....obviously you move him on when your back on the level again and get someone better in and thats exactly how England could play it.......just as long as they dont come knocking for my SuperSlav

He,s had his academy for young English players running for a while now, been watching football all over the world......you only need to listen to him to realise he knows the game he,s also well respected and recommended for the job by a lot of managers.....has one of the best win rates of any England manager and wasnt even booted for footballing reasons...... teams from different parts of the world are playing different styles of football do we really want one of the names above whos only experience is of the English premier league.......after all lets face it names like Allardyce/Bruce/Dyche/H

We,ve been saying that sort of thing for 25 years mate......for reasons nobody seems to know we cannot get it right at International level this is the lowest point ive known with England we couldnt of had a better draw for a tournament yet we f****d it again........at what point do you say hang on a minute. The only name that really springs out and appeals to me for the job is Glenn Hoddle.

Your over 60 you can get away with it apparently......if your obese Stan then put the cakes down and liven yourself up.......sorry and all that but what sort of pal would let his mate become a disgusting mess !.... if a mate of mine allowed me to get in such a state and didnt pull me up then he aint a real mate as far as im concerned.whats the catch weight shallow hal what if people that actually achieved something in life like tyson furey, ronaldo, roy keane or conor mcgregor look down and said gnasher your a lazy person you didnt try hard enough.By the way im not fat but i dont judge people

The difference between you and me Max is when someone digs me out over my personal life for all the world to see i have a little dig back PRIVATELY....thats down to a word we used to have in the old days called " integrity ". " throwing my weight about " .....ive told you a number of times now.....people like you need protecting from themselves and fortunately for you ive been around the block a few times and can recognise a " do,er " from a " talker "...and you are just a talker.....i say again dont flatter yourself son i would of had a bit of fun with somebody as simple as you when i wa

Good shout mate ive often wondered how he might of faired against someone like Holyfield or Michael Spinks fighters bordering the cruiser/heavy divisions......i dont really have favorites as such but Spinks was a fighter i really liked his unpredictable movement was so good to watch i had money on him to do Tyson ....as you say theres some fascinating match ups for Marciano when you look outside the heavyweight division.
