  1. Is it just me or does there seem to be more Butterflies about this year........all different types as well.......from what im told this is their prime time and after August they will be thin on the ground ?.....but is there any reason my garden seems to be full of them compared to what i remember in previous years ?......beautiful looking creatures anyway.
  2. Aint that the truth......the one thing a person cannot run away from is themselves and who they truly are good or bad.......self preservation will make some people come to the front, others will hide behind the sofa.......funny as that clip looks its a very primeval yet fascinating example.
  3. Wouldnt like to guess who would come out on top but has the potential for a genuinely good contest.
  4. Strange old season ahead i dont think anyone quite knows what to expect......what struck me about this topic is that not one person has mentioned Leicester either at the top of the league or the bottom !!.......i just think folk genuinely dont know whats ahead and thats what makes this the greatest league in the world in my opinion.
  5. Bases covered for what ive never threatened you and neither has anybody i know........only you know why you felt the need to say what you said. Talk all the football nonsense you like but as regards digging up my personal life in future dont get confrontational with people if you cant stand the consequences of where it can lead to.........simple.
  6. 6 % ........always said i was a caring gentle natured chap
  7. Still trying to front things out i see ! Its just as well i know you are a small harmless little no mark or you might have been in a little bit of trouble by now
  8. What about soldiers tho ? Just normal everyday folk but the military train and work with them and train them to be killers. Obviously some are better than others, and some never make the cut. I don't think it's mega hard to train someone to kill, most would in the right circumstances. It's the remorse etc afterwards. Working with some kids ATM with personality disorders and they have no empathy, no guilt, it's very strange. A professional soldier killing in the line of duty is a far cry from somebody working on a Tesco checkout randomly killing people for fun/sexual pleasure mate
  9. Im not into all the them v us nonsense mate i nail my colours to the mast on these things if i had my way we would of f****d the lot of them off years ago.....its just my understanding that terrorists commit these acts wanting people to know they are terrorists so purely as an individual case i just dont really see how this one was.....thats all.
  10. Oh absolutely.....i have a basic distrust of black people in general......but i accept that on a " specific case " basis some of them are probably ok
  11. In any nature or nurture debate id go with nature myself i dont think you can put in what nature left out and in the case of serial killers common sense tells me if a person is not born with the capability of evil then a crappy upbringing isnt going to make them evil......i do think environment/experiences plays a big part but without the trait of evil intentions in the first place i dont think it ever reaches the surface......serial killers/evil people are very rare as its the combination of both extremes of nature and nurture.........thats what makes sense in my tiny mind anyway.
  12. So the attacker has been interviewed and they're still saying no terrorism motive. Now terrorists aren't usually shy about their reasons for carrying out attacks (would kind of defeat the point of carrying them out in the first place) so I'd say it's safe to say this wasn't a terrorist attack motivated by any kind of extremism, just a nutter going nuts in public. naivety springs to mind At Why would a terrorist hide the motives behind his attack? When has that ever happened before? And if you're implying the police are lying about what was said in his interview well then they're goi
  13. In your dreams lol........you will have to find some other small boring gossip to wash away the bitter taste ! Lol Can't wait for the season, who has been named your latest saviour? I came back from Cyprus specifically to be at the first game and it was without doubt one of the best atmospheres ive been at in a football ground.......but....it still wasnt Upton Park !.....its going to be a different atmosphere, not the enclosed intimidating air of the Boleyn this was just noise it reminded me of these big European grounds like the San Siro or the Bernebau where the atmosphere is in the
  14. Must admit beyond the athletics i cant really get into much of it im not really a fan of amateur boxing and in all honesty i just cant take some of the " sports " seriously.......looking forward to the track and field stuff though i think compared to London its going to be a disappointment for GB.....hope im wrong.
  15. oh so you can still get it here nice one Dave i,ll get on the case ......ive been going to Cyprus for years and always been able to get it there but cant get it for love nor money anymore......its certainly good gear.
  16. Im spending a lot of time in Cyprus at the moment im getting eaten alive, for some reason they seem attracted to my knees and elbows ive been scratching them till they are red raw its not a good look walking round with the mrs .....we used to get this stuff called Cintronella Oil that was great but everywhere seems to of stopped selling it so have been recommended Mosquito Milk which doesnt sound good to me but will give anything a go at the moment !
  17. it does make you wonder why their not floor to ceiling . Maybe something to do with air circulation through all of them so they dont get all dank and stinky Its simply for safety and hygiene reasons........floor to ceiling partitions hold bacteria, very difficult to clean ( a mop is easily flung under the gap ) and in an emergency access is easier......i think in pretty much all public changing/toilet facilities floor to ceiling is a thing of the past now. Im not a public toilet expert by the way ......just as a former gym owner i remember the amount of rules and regs concerning chang
  18. How far do you want to take this......single sex beeches ?......single sex parks with paddling pools ?.............Francie are you getting Unisex changing rooms mixed up with Family changing rooms ?............if not then i cant quite get my nut round your complaint to be honest.............public toilets have a 8 inch gap at the bottom you would still expect parents to take their kids into the cubicle........is this the stage communities are at where folk are frightened of using public facilities/sports centres etc.

    Beer

Thanks mate i,ll add them to the inventory
  20. You should give it a go pal, better for you than that horrible alcohol stuff and you never know you might just like it You'll be listening to Bob Marley and growing your hair out before you know it Not for me mate i like the social aspect of a drink i wouldnt dream of drinking indoors..............mind you if it makes your hair grow i might give it a whirl
  21. At first i thought yous was saying it was one big room where everyone stripped down for everyone else to see................if its a big room with cubicles then whats the big deal......sickos will go wherever they go....whats next separate beeches for men/women/kids ?.......surely its up to parents to protect their kids from weirdos and if caught take whatever action necessary.

    Beer

The art of a cowards survival is not letting things get to the point where cowardice can be exposed On the beer front just come back from Cyprus a pal of mine who has a bar there took me to a cracking little place called The Old Fishing Shack in Paphos ive never seen as many beers in my life we was acting like dicks and chucking money about so the old boy who owns it pulled out some bottles of rare Thomas Hardy ale......well well well it put all the others in the shade it was absolutely gorgeous i dont know if any of you chaps have had it before ?......he had loads of ales id never heard o

  24. Not to sound too harsh on the lad but should 8 miles in 2 hours carrying 25kg be a particularly difficult task for a strong healthy young man to do regardless of weather when they can stay hydrated throughout ?........its not much more than a fast walk........sounds to me like the boy must of had some kind of medical problem that already existed....no ? Id like to ask the army lads here.....is there some kind of underlying competitive nature in these type of exercises whereby a lad may be pushing for the fastest time ?......and therefore pushing too hard.....its the only thing i can think
  25. Personally i think the fat man is a decent appointment.......after all said and done he,s pretty much the only one who wanted it so good luck to him.........it wont matter about his style of play or obsession with meaningless statistics after all said and done the difference between following your club and following your country is you have to watch your club every week so theres more emphasis on watching football thats pleasing to the eye but nobody gives a f**k how the national team play we only watch them a handful of times per year the importance is on winning and nothing else......how tha
