Not a bad fight to be fair to Brook he stood on and fought the right fight but he,s just not a middleweight he had good punch variety but he wasnt putting a dent in Golovkin who in my opinion showed a lot of defensive frailties last night....no head movement,no real defensive awareness its almost like he has so much confidence in his power he thinks he can walk straight through an opponent.......hurtful puncher though i was 7 or 8 rows back and could hear the punches going in,he,s a very correct puncher as well hits with the knuckle part of the glove every time and gets the full turn of the hi

Quite possibly.......personally i think Khan is the reason Brook is fighting Golovkin......he was chasing a fight with Khan for so long that taking a desperate measure like jumping up 2 weight divisions was his only way of getting a big pay day......all credit to him but its no brave heroic decision like some folk claim. As Cushty says if he wins will Brook stay in the middleweight division....you cant claim to be a natural middleweight but then hop back down to welter when it suits. A return to same day weigh ins are not a long way off the combat sports mark my words.

I dont know about that mate because a lot of boxers avoided the fight i've read. Yes because the money wasnt right....no fighter wants to get embarrassed for pennies.....Hearn got him a great deal. Fighters are not actually afraid of each other despite what the hype will have you believe

People saying well done Brook for getting in there and fighting him....its a Rocky fight he,s getting very well paid for a fight he,s expected to lose its the situation any fighter would want to be in if anyone deserves a pat on the back its Eddie Hearn.

Whats the lads name mate i,ll keep an eye out........number of young boxers im very high on but i prefer to put my money where my mouth is with such youngsters so will keep them to myself at this stage .....football wise i watched the son of a friend of a friend play a few years ago and said he would go places Joey Powell he,s had a few games in the West Ham development squad and im told could break through to the senior squad very soon......i can normally pick out boxing talent but footie its just common sense and guesswork for me.

Yes mate.....down the Hammers in the afternoon and then a quick dash under the Thames to the 02. Saw them weigh in today if they fight around 10 o clock tomorrow thats nearly 36 hours between weigh in and fight its ridiculous really they might as well not have a weigh in and just come in at whatever weight they like !.......for a fighter the weigh in is the first chance you get to draw energy off your opponent and i think Golovkin will come away even more confident now,Brook looked much smaller and was completely hydrated......Brook can keep saying he suits the weight better but the harsh

do you think wolves is black country kay i dont think so, even cannock sounds different to wolverhampton lol I spent a short spell living in Willenhall many years ago if im not wrong the Black Country is Walsall,Bilston,Dudley etc......but not Wolverhampton as i was constantly being told at the time......but you,s will know more than me.........good little football area all them clubs so close to each other i enjoyed the time i spent round there.......cant say as i miss that accent though

Im spending most of my time in Cyprus these days ive become addicted to this Tzatziki stuff its a yoghurt and cucumber based dip that gets drained and mixed with garlic,lemon etc......i cant get enough of it i keep getting strange looks from folk in restaurants over there when im sitting dipping my chips and just about anything else in it !........its a look of complete contempt a bit like the way we look at Northerners who have gravy on their chips

The reason they will have chosen London City Airport is because its not the sort of airport you set off from on your holidays with the family its long been associated with wealthy businessmen who dont have time for the normal 2 hour check ins and being very close to one of the biggest financial districts in the world yet at the same time being on the doorstep of a deprived area with a large black population......they probably thought it was the perfect opportunity to get publicity for their cause. Smashing lad Danny,smashing family as well i knew the father Danny Snr for many years he tragically passed away about 10 years ago now but not before he had a book published detailing the struggles he had as a father of a downs kid ....might be an interesting read for some of you chaps as he was very open about the embarrassment and self esteem issues he started out with which gradually turned to massive pride......Danny Snr was no angel but had a great honesty which served him well as a family man/friend and a very good businessman.
