does you's not have problems with terriers dropping to ground or fighting over kills ? i find the cocker less hassle/stressful than terriers running free.
should be a cracker, personally i had Trout winning a very close one with Alvarez, be hard to bet against Mayweather in this one, i could see it being wide ud
beddy x greyhound 21"
beddy/greyhound x mike brown whippet 22" ( son of the above)
have worked beddy whippets, both halfers and three quarters but for me as someone else has mentioned the addition of greyhound just makes for a better dog.
early pace, nose and enough heart to hit hedges hard, plenty of different crosses would fit the bill. personally if i was starting from scratch, there's nothing a beddy/whippet can do that a beddy/greyhound can't do better, though to contradict myself my lurchers are a combination of all three breeds.
usually kits all born at the same time but this time theres a gap between them, second jill had her kits today, other jill had hers 2 weeks ago, which both have been rearing, any potential problems with the age difference leaving together or should i separate them ? thanks
beddy/ whippets are decent wee dogs but for me personally the straight half beddy/greyhound is a better option and with bitches coming in at anything from 20 to 23, theres not that much in it size wise
best of luck with pup should you go for it, i run a mixture of bedlington/whippet and greyhound myself, all i do is daytime stuff, i find them well suited to that type of hunting.
a recent addition with the same 3 breeds in the mix
dogs all walked, Ulster fry down the nanny goat, the missus and sprogs away for weekend, clatter of pints of pints with the lads and back home for the fight... its a hard auld life !
i like the 10z nylon, in stop net and purse, have some of these, very good nets, though i'm not sure if they were from this same seller, at £2 a net ,they're well worth a punt Desy.
same thing happen to me with a smashing hob, one day sound, dead the next, thats just the way it goes with them sometimes.
i have a litter of kits born today and another due anytime, if your shorthanded on the ferret front, your more than welcome to a couple.
just picked up one of these half price from homebase to try, i have a bulldog, decent spade but the rounded edge isnt great for roots
