  1. sorry to hear about you losing the dogs jack. regarding john williams stock, as i said, i had one bitch of his breeding and she was a good worker, bred to a dessie mackin owned middleton lakeland, she produced good workers, i can't comment on the various other cross that he made. there must be a lot of people still interested in the working bedlington, very time they get mentioned, its seems to run into several pages.
  2. i could me wrong swanseajack, but i have a funny feeling you may have bred this bitch ? newcombes blue x gypo ( taffy x climber), i think she was born in 1990/91.
  3. hybred, having worked the various bedlington crosses and the pure breds, how to you compare them ? border/bedlington first crosses
  4. check out the bedlington thread in this forum. also i think tideline books might still do a couple of the working bedlington terrier yearbooks, which are well worth a read, as they cover both the pure breds and the hyrids.
  5. sam, 19 1/2 " 26lb, this dog took fox single handed both on lamp and bolted by terrier jade, good wee lamping bitch, 18"
  6. i mated this bitch to a dessie mackin owed lakeland, rex, bred by g. middleton, and bred the ofspring to each other and back to the mother again, not eveyones cup of tea, but when the results were good they were very good, a fair few of them stayed at 14", could'nt find any other bedlingtons in ireland at that time.
  7. just trying a pic, if this works, this is a very good bitch i owned, bred by john williams, newcombe's blue x gypo ( morrisons toby x climber) just can't get the hang of these photo's yet.
  8. thanks hybred, there's still working kc dogs out there, i think terry aherne's dogs are all kc reg. i kept the breed for a long time myself, had four generations bred at home, was lucky to start of with a good one. don't keep them now, but still have a soft spot for them. all the best lawrence.
  9. some great shots there hybred, the blue pup has that serious look about him, just out of curiously i would be interested in knowing what way they're bred, best of luck lawrence.
