  1. i appreciate the feedback lads, i feel a bit more optimistic now. the break is up above the wrist and looked very clean in the xray to my uneducated eye. she's in with Murray & Scullion in Lurgan.
  2. cheers mate, thats good to hear, she's only 15 months and in with a good greyhound vet, so like i say, fingers crossed.
  3. lurcher bitch hit by a car yesterday resulting in a compound fracture on her left front leg, just above the wrist, anyone any experience of similar imjuries? getting steel pins put in tomorrow, anychance of a full recovery? or is her working life finished? she's a daytime moocher/ferreting dog so not under strain as a lamping / coursing dog, fingers crossed.
  4. littersister to Shaun's dog, turning into a decent ferreting/daytime mooching dog, well pleased with her. would be interested to hear how the rest of the litter is performing.

  8. a wee bitch pup i picked up last week
  9. all the best with him Shaun, i have his sister, a few inches shorter but as you say a bit of knuckle in them yet, i couldn't be happier with the way she's turning out.
  10. just a wee snap of the wheaten pup, filling out nicely.
  11. alright mate, still got your fella here, its make or break for him this season, not a dog to fill you full of confidence, though he does seem to have outgrew that spookyness lark and he's certainly not afraid of his own shadow. i'll keep you informed either way mate. thats him with one of Topper's pups.
  12. a snap of my bitch pup, around the six month mark.
  13. all very young but hopefully a decent wee outfit in the making.
  14. i do the same as Tiny but use one of those garden pump spray things ( 7 litres i think it holds) , i spray it about 3 or 4 times a day, ferret court in all, only takes a few minutes each time, very little smell from my yard.
  15. just wondering if any members had approched the national trust for ferreting permission ? i read on their website that they do allow falcontry to control rabbits, i have permission on land which borders their property but the rabbits are cute enough and all live on the trust side of the fence, there's a huge population of them there, which are destroying crops. i could be wrong but i always thought landowners had an oblacation to control pests on thier land if they were causing hardship to neighbours ?
  16. couple of snaps of my pup, just short of 8 months
  17. thats just made my weekend, the two most hated nations in the world out on their ears, magic.
