  2. try the working bedlington forum , if i remember correctly, i think Terry Aherne mentioned he had litter of 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bedlingtons planned.
  3. sorry to hear that, great player, introduced irish tuning to the tenor banjo.
  4. why don't you ask him on the working bedlington site, he's a decent fella ,i'm sure he'll tell you anything you want to know
  5. http://www.irish-poultry.com/apps/guestbook/ check in there mate, some for sale in Armagh
  6. yes they can come that size but usually with with a touch of fell/lakeland in them. you often see dogs advertised as rillington but on inspection find one or two dogs way back in the pedigree, more important is what the parents are doing.
  7. young Slim, whippet x bedlington/greyhound, 22" ats, bred with bolted rabbits in mind, 6 1/2 months.
  8. you would have more luck getting one from across the water, transport going back and forward every week so distance not a problem, check the working bedlington site out, good luck with your search,i'm considering getting another one myself, if i do i'll give you a shout. shame your weren't looking six months ago . i'ld give you a pup.
  9. have a look through the bedlington 2005 thread on here or the working beddy forum, loads of pics of dogs from that breeding in both.. not a half bred dog but bedlington/ lakeland bred.
  10. can't see penicillin helping mate, its like the common cold and personally i just let it run its course,
  11. mine get the same barf diet as the dogs
  12. i once bred a very inbred litter of bedlingtons one of which was born with a docked tail, so strange things can crop up but a spitz type tail still sounds very iffy to me.
  13. out of action with the man flu for the last week now, dogs not happy.

  14. couple of digs today, just settling down to a well earned pint of stout

  15. great stuff T, good snap of her. lets hope her daughter follows suit.
  16. got a spade of Barry recently, well pleased with it, a handy piece of kit to have and a gentleman to deal with.
  17. few mental health issues going on there by the sounds of it.
  18. tell me about it, the amount of gear can get out of hand, i've got it down to one medium sized rucksack, takes nets,a two piece spade and lunch. a poachers ferret box and thats me. we have 3 lurchers between the two of us, my beddyx greyhound and 2 of her pups to one of mike browns whippets, so next season, we're ditching everything bar a pocket full of nets, travelling light and just bolting for the dogs.
  19. i recently bought one of flying foxes two piece spade/shove ldesigned for terrier work but perfect for ferreting also, fits in the net bag ,quick and easy to put together, very strong, cus through roots like butter and just the right size, i would recommend them. the wee mini bulldogs and the like can be handy but are just too small for me
  20. if my memory serves me right, that clip has already been previously posted and discussed. don't see any harm in putting it up myself, a look at a bygone age, many things perfectly exceptable then, that wouldn't be now.
  21. if all rounder means rabbits , then yes.
  22. its hardly rocket science, if you can pull it over the ferrets head its to loose, if you can't pull it over their head, then its unlikely to come off. even if you think its tight enough, double check by making sure it won't pull over their heads.
  23. if its coming of your not putting it on tight enough, stick a load more holes in the collar, slide the receiver down a bit more. don't like the sound of the chest advice, i would forget that.
