  1. all the different types seem to be covered apart from the ferreters dog, i hoping to lay my hands on a bedlington x greyhound first cross in the near future,so thats my choice, but just out of curiousity which cross would members go for ?
  2. i use it everyday myself and always stick a nip into the dogs food, suppose to be a good general health tonic, will have to try the spray on the ferrets meat.
  3. cheers Vosey, just out of curiousity, have you've any snaps of your uncle's dog ?
  4. like Nixy says mate, you can get pups without a tie.
  5. just a snap of my little 3/4 lakeland 1/4 beddy bitch pup after i stripped her down the other night, around the 6 month mark now and just under 13 ", well pleased with her attitude so far.
  6. another couple of shots of the pup for you SJ, progress wise not much to report, other than he's a typical f*****g weirdo bedlington
  7. sometimes a change of bedding can stop it, had one that would do the same when bedded on straw but stopped when i used shredded paper, worth a try.
  8. i going to have a look at this http://www.usedcarsni.com/27795285 later this evening but having only passed my test less than a yr ago and knowing f**k all about cars, i could do with some advice. what questions to ask ? what to look out for ? Whats a reasonable offer to make should i fancy it. thanks.
  9. cheers david, he's a wee touch under 14" mate, he has he quirks like the rest of them but fingers crossed eh .
  10. cheers lads, aye WAB, she has the look mate.
  11. thanks TT. aye SJ i'll stick to getting him operating, i'm not the most sociable at the best of times, so usually stay clear of shows, some b*****d always starts talking to me, can't have that. by the way the liver half bred bitch i mentioned is 100%, stays til dug, be a nice mating for the future should the pup work out, i'll throw you one over if it happens.
  12. another couple of snaps of the pup for you SJ, just short of 8 months now.
  13. just a couple of snaps of Betty, the little 3/4 lakeland 1/4 bedlington bitch pup, messing about in the Annalong river with the wee lad, great craic for the kid.

it tends to grow near water ( river , lakes), f##k ebay half the fun is finding and cutting your own, i like the golden stuff , once you know what your looking for, your'll spot it all the time.
  15. look forward to hearing how you get on mate, are you going alone or with a helper ?
  16. always like this one of the whippet n' bull Tess smiling for the camera
  17. thanks for all the comments, i've just left the two litters together with both jills and all is well, in fact the jills seem happier to me, 11 hobs and 6 jill kits. Bri if you fancy a couple your welcome mate.
  18. you must be looking in the wrong places fencehopper, if i can get my hands on one over here, surely it should be a lot easier for you in Wales, i know SJ had the brother of mine for sale a while back, good luck with your hunt anyway mate, hopefully it will be worth the wait. my pups
  19. one is mostly lakeland bred, as far as i can see anyway.
  20. Good news, just as i was about to start rapping neighbours doors, one beat me to to it and called to say he had her safe and sound, was lucky there as his father used to keep them. meanwhile the ploecat has been doing a great job and all the kits were fat and warm, obviously there's no way of telling which kits are which now, so both jills and kits are in together now, all sound so far. considering the weight difference i would have thought a cat would mangle a ferret.
  21. well pissed of with myself this morning, i obviously didn't lock the white jill's hutch right last night and this morning she's gone, the beddy pup barked for a minute or so around 12ish but he would do that if a neighbour was putting out a bin so thought nothing of it, the dogs are sound with the ferrets but theres loads of cats around here, our own included, which would make short work of a one, so i don't hold out much hope of finding her alive. she has 9 kits which are a fortnight old tomorrow, they were abit cold bit but all fine, so i stuck them in with the polecats litter of the same ag
  22. when you think about the amount of sport a good ferret can provide, £20 is f**k all.
  23. there was one in Ireland, i think you got paid per brush produced at the local police station, though not 100% on that, i dare say there's boys on here would know better.
