    I have been vermin shooting alot recently, but i think its time to start getting Paddy my Lurcher fit for the coming season, so me and Pointer had a walk out just bushing along the river and woods, i shoot over Alfie his GWP quite a bit now, but was looking forward to seeing how his young black GWP Lurcher pup Nettle is coming on.     I always rear mine on Beta Puppy, its not cheap but you get what you pay for with puppy food (just my opinion) Dave.

    The dog i lost a few years back was off a Danish import (the dannish ambasitor at Gavic), the breeder is sadly no longer with us, but he bred some cracking dogs. Dave.

    Cheers Hendo, Was another good few hours, a bit quiet at first then all the action came at once. Another warm night for the wirehair but he hunted well and put in some good retrieves pointer . Dave.

    A good hard hunting Lab would do it canny, but if the ground is realy testing and you need alot of spirit a GWP would be ideal. Dave.

    Had a quick Mooch round with Steve (pointer) and his Wirehair at the week end (and thats not his hair style ) Steve was a bit worried that the young dog may loose his head at the number of rabbits around at the moment, as he has mainly been ratting with him recently, but the heavy rain as we arrived seemed to put most of them down. He needent have worried as he settled down to hunt steadily like a pro, more to the surprise of steve who was ready with his harness and 30ft lead, but it wasnt needed.     Yes mate, until then we will have to do some bushing, the cover is well up like but it gives the terriers some action and theres a few about at the min. Will see you Thursday night and we will put your GWP through his paces up the dale. Dave.
