My father in law who is 87, 88 in August has had numerous mini strokes which causes him to fall over a lot it’s like a cycle have a stroke fall over spend time in hospital come home, they have upped his meds for his blood pressure which seems to have stabilised him lately, we have tried to get him in full time care but his wife my mother in law who has alzheimers doesn’t want to leave the family home which they have lived in since the 1960s also he has dementia it’s not good getting old, it seems to be a full time job looking after them.

Not an untrue word there unfortunately I just don’t understand how the powers above us can stand by and watch what’s happening the thing is it affects them as well, do they seriously think they will be spared if they get the upper hand no chance.

Man the colour they look superb well done ? gonna have a go myself this week if I get a day to myself, sons getting married in a couple of weeks so it’s been all go lately for things that I truthfully don’t enjoy trying suits on and all that bollocks ?

I had a rough coated Patt I used to strip her by hand you get rid of all the dead hair and let the new coat grow through I would never put clippers any where near her I could pour a pint of water on her back and it would just fall off really strong waterproof coat she had, never bothered her at all until you went near her belly then she used to moan like a Tasmanian devil lol, all the best with them.

Like buses you wait for ages and two come along together well done for perseverance, I caught with mine the first night a circle of apple under the trigger drop of honey on the apple with a crushed shreddie worked for me fine.

I used to lamp with a bloke who was like that he thought the farm we shot on belonged to him and lo and behold if he bumped into a trespasser it was over the top and embarrassing rather than a polite pointing out there in the wrong place he would be on the offence straight from the off he even pissed the farmer off in the end the way he used to talk to him very short sighted, I must admit we were a good shooting team we accounted for a lot of foxes but he moved on as I did.

Sounds like you’ve got a good thing going on there and I have driven past your shoot it’s a stunning part of the country and your right the networking side of it opens up a lot of opportunities, I used to be a regular hunt follower I had ratting invites more digging than I could handle shooting opportunity’s you name it, I turned my back on it all because I new if I carried on following that particular hunt I would have been arrested for assault it was continuously plagued with hunt saboteurs every meet. I hardly see anyone now, I must admit sometimes it would be handy to have some one to

I cannot understand how people pay these mad prices a mate whose involved in a shoot offered me a day for £600 a few years back and I thought he was on drugs, If I want a pheasant or two I go and shoot them simple as that, I suppose it’s the social side of things that appeals to some I’m glad I’m unsociable.

When I was ES I used to get stuck in mate even now as a Mom I muck in helping the S&T rebuild barriers ect I draw the line at the shovel now though lol I was 58 the other day and my shovels batteries have expired ?

It’s funny 20 plus years ago we were having those conversations f**k em they didn’t help us so we ain’t helping them but you can’t leave or hand back till everyone is off I always encouraged every one to get stuck in it all goes away then.
