  4. mine wakes me up with my breakfast and tea every morning. tea on the table when i get in from work. has nursed me with my bad back for two weeks. brought up my four kids while i worked runs after the two grandchildren like a clucking hen she looks after my dogs while i work feeds and helps exersise them.......................................................apart from the above she is useless
  5. i see sparrowhawks at least once a day sometimes umpteen times, they are not scare not a lot of em around me either.. i'm sure in some places they are more common though. its like deer around here, there's loads of them but ask any normal local and there surprised as they have never seen them, a good sunny day and you will be surprised if you look up how many spars are riding the thermals just like the buzzards, now kestrels are another matter they are seriously in decline lots of kestrels here. i see em all the time whilst looking for sparrowhawks
  6. everywhere i go i see stupid phezzies . ffs. they invite death in every way possible. they are feckin suicide machines. comparable only to chickens. i feel sorry for them they are ill prepared for the wild. and on a plate for everything that can eat em. including two legged vermin.on the other hand the spar is an arial acrobat that is perfectly suited to its natural enviroment. i know what to me has the right to live. and what i like to see. as for buzzards they get fat round here feeding on the phezzy pancakes littered around the country lanes around here they dont need to kill feck all

  16. there are many problems with taking young uns out in this day and age. some folk you just cant show a blackies nest. and next time your checking your earths you could find peg holes in the mounds. and empty earths. when you chat to your farmer he might say.....aye bob said it would be fine if he popped over and checked em for you. a lot of folk in the hunting game are very needy. and cant help themselves. this little error of judgement is of course seen as a betrayal of trust and can often turn into decades of bitterness. often spilling out onto the world wide web
  17. Very nice head study. Shame it's off of a Sony though. ATB the lens was minolta. if that helps
