On Line Photography Courses
Cleanspade replied to Cleanspade's topic in Wildlife and General Photography
i'm out and about with a camera undisputed. and playing around with it . i have been doing for a while now. this course is just to give me an idea as to what i am doing right /or wrong. and to hopefully give me a better idea as to where i am at the moment. and what i need to work on. i could never of justified this course at he full price but for 20 quid. its worth a look. . as for camera clubs. ive often thought about this but i'm not great in group scenario's and dont think i would fit in well with your average camera club crowd. although i wont rule it out. and could well be wrong on this -
ive seen that scenario many times. the faster dog get a turn on it then the slower mutt scoops it up. i had a collie cross years ago that always looked good when ran with a faster dog.

What Price To Leave Wildlife In Peace.....?
Cleanspade replied to Blackbriar's topic in General Talk
nothing is safe from the human race. we are like a plague of fcukin locust. flattening everything in our wake. scary if you look to hard at it. but as we all know nature is a good leveller and nature will come into play at some point in time. this is the only thing that can stop us. all the money in the world wont save wild things only prolong the inevitable -
sad to hear that. young men form a much stronger bond with there animals. and it smarts when you lose a pal. at that age especially, and in such a harsh and sudden manner. leaves you in shock. he will be right enough with time. and get back on the horse when he is ready..

i resize in paint most of the time. right click your image open in paint top left of window resize. two boxes 100/ 100. /change to 15 15. if this is to small dont save and try say 20 20. this is trial and error depending on the size of the original pic.

i have took the course on now. its a five week course twice weekly. priced at £849. but i got it for next to nothing on groupon. i will let you know how it works out. i go on youtube now and then its a great way of learning in your own time at your own pace..i need a crawling pace lol -
has anyone gone on one of these courses and ifso how did you find it. ? ive been looking at one from the Shaw Academy so would be interested in your thoughts cheers cs.

i agree with tinytiger. i do know that line bred terriers will have a better percentage of workers. and that the workstyle and type is more predictable. but the best ive seen the ones that stand out to me have been mongrels and crossbreds. worker to worker . i can only go on what i have seen and to be honest that wont be as much as most of you chaps. but it is fairly varied.

it would depend on the dogs coat wullie. if the guard hairs are loose and casting then hand stip. its not difficult try yuotube for a tutorial.

not everyone takes off there rose coloured glasses dillydog. in fact most line bred working terriers are badly inbred. due to the fear factor also like you say you fold it back into the old stock. have you ever crossed out to a different breed. ? when you brought in an outcross was it totally unrelated. and did the size come up when you outcrossed. .

she will look well when she is finished lol. ive two to shear. i.ll put em in here when done. -
buy a locator system and get him out around the farms. you might get the odd rat as well in around the buildings but remember stock training is important this time of year.especially. .

i favour the wheaten cross i have one that will bush ferret retreive ( no live ) but is a good all round pesters dog. can be a little dog aggressive but works well with my terrier bitches. its personal prefarence but you need the right base stock in your dog to be able to judge them fairly
