  6. I don't know, but would have thought that if you shoot even an air rifle and the pellet goes out side your property you are breaking the law. That said if you shot straight up in the air and hit it would the pellet be classed as leaving your property? TC
  7. You still have to follow the laser though. TC
  8. The term hawking in that instance means the way the Jackdaws take insects out of the air. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawking_(birds) https://www.britishbirds.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/article_files/V41/V41_N09/V41_N09_P272_279_N054.pdf TC

  11. Yeah a clipper lighter does the trick haha atb At There are them that know, then there are them that have to have the biggest and the best and don't have a clue. TC
  12. Funnily enough this lamp question has been going on since lamping began. If you have the right land a good dog and field craft it does not matter what lamp you have. Some of my best nights have been with old made up car spot lights or the britex square inspection lamps. This bollox about having a 3 mile beam is just that bollox. Try getting close to your quarry instead of killing your dog on long slips. You might just find your dog works better and you will save yourself a fortune and have the bigger bags. :whistling: TC
  13. Why not? All he has to do is apply to DEFRA for an article ten giving the circumstances date and where it was killed and they will give him an article ten for the bird. http://taxidermy.co.uk/taxidermy-laws/#specimen_origin TC
  14. Absolutely brilliant. Tears of joy running down my face as I type this. TC
  15. While this is a good place to start out a feasibility study, it is only a fraction of the people who actually use locators. It is never going to be a big seller because of it's application. That is one of the main reasons that no viable options have materialised over the years, cost to set up production verses possible return. There would be a market for such a box but as stated above it would be limited. TC

A little bit of cricket history for you. TC
  17. Spinning for mullet. http://www.anglersmail.co.uk/fishing-tips/fish-fishing-tips/mullet-and-how-to-catch-the-thin-lipped-variety-24324 When the local power station was working we used to catch them on bubble floated strips of silver foil. They would feed on the hot water outlet of the power station on the cooked whitebait being thrown out with the hot cooling water. TC
  18. Try a mepps baited with rag worm. TC
  19. Normally yes ... but i like this fella and have no intention of rinsing him etc etc.. I have taken enough of his hard earned cash and my next step will be to either teach him and give hims some equipment to DIY or find a permanent solution for him. It is nice to see that some do not think that ethics is next to suthex. It will do you more good in the long run. TC
  20. You obviously have not seen Fuji's Pom Ruby. That dog is on fire. TC
