    Like you say Wilf, it is a belief not a certainty. When scientist believe something they have to prove it, as they deal in provable facts. If they cannot prove what they believe then it does not exist. Simplistic way of looking at things really. TC

    Gnash congratulations on the grandchild, I know when my kids were young I never had the time to spend with them that I would have liked to do. Mortgage, food, low wages all put pressure on everyone. By the time you get to the grandparent stage you have more time to spend with them. but they don't half ware you out quickly, we have our youngest granddaughter two days a week, it takes the next 5 days to get over it and she is only two. Only you know what is acceptable to you and I'm guessing here, but I think you already know what you want to do? TC

    Gnash as has been said Lamb is the only meat for cawl. Tradtionally it is eaten with a lump of cheese and crusty bread and it is aways far better the next day or even the day after. Thats why I made it today for Saturday. If you really fancy making it, use the scrag end of the neck of lamb, bit sweeter than the breast but not as fatty and more bone for flavour TC

    I used one all the time, but not for showing up fish more to show the contours of the bottom, although they do show echo's. But sometimes they are false posatives, as in it will pick up anything floating in the sea. I found the ones that show an arch better than the ones that show fish symbols. It only happened to me twice in 15 years but I have had the sceen go black with a shoal of bass beneath the boat, both times were in october when big shoals of bass were chasing the shoals of small whiting.     Morrisons has to be the most sh!te supermarket ever. The prices there are nearly as bad as Tesco's and the service is worse than any other supermarket. Try getting to a till without 4 or 5 people in front of you and 15 other tills empty. Try asking a member of staff for help, they just look at you daft. Ours has 4 self service tills, I have never been there when all four are working since they installed them. Oops sorry they were all working a couple of weeks ago, but the card readers were down on two of them so they were cash only. TC

    All utilities should be run as national industries. But run as profit making companies. The profits that those industries make now would then go a long way to helping the NHS to become a flag ship once again. TC

    I just remembered I have some furniture leather that I kept from an old three piece that we were throwing out if I can find someone to stitch it for me I might make a couple up. It will be something to do over the winter nights, put in some falconry eyelets as breathing holes and for the draw string at the top, and it should work out nice. TC
