I will be honest it is a bit late for the bass now, they have moved offshore to feed on the whiting shoals. You might get the odd one but it would only be the odd one. There is another place about five or six miles down the estuary where you might get some codling, but no guarantees. Sorry. TC

I am no expert on hares, but with rabbits they are easier in the morning after a nights feeding. So I would imagine a hare would be the same. No animal can run at it's best with full belly. TC

I sometimes feel when you loose a good dog or have to put an old one to rest, that the people who treat dogs as cattle and have no emotional bond with the animal have the right idea. Then I think on of the pleasure just partnering the dog has given me over the years. Then I think Nahhh it's their loss. RIP. TC

I can sympathise, used to have an old terrier that would do loops at the sight of a shotgun would sit in a hide all day with shots being fired over his head and not flinch. First firework of the year and he would be a shivering wreck. Never cured him of it. TC

I do not know whether I am more shocked that I am not outraged at what happened, or that a person could actually do that to another human? It is puzzling me why it has not really affected me to the extent you would think it should? Perhaps when the truth of what has actually happened comes out, I will feel different, but until then I do not trust the media's sensationalising of what has happened. TC

I just do not get this "us verses them"? A persons faith, or lack of, is between them and their conscience. I was taught very young you can discuss religion but never argue about it. As, along with sex and politics every one has their own preference. TC
