    Arthur Mullard pmsl She (it!) started on a trainee programme with several others and we were hoping to get one of the lookers on our section but the gods were against us. It came with a fully paid up membership of the hallitosis club and was also a ginge (sorry lab).

    If I remember correctly, a few years back the mountain rescue in the peak district applied for lottery funding to be told they didn't meet the criteria as they didn't rescue enough ethnic minorities. It's hardly their fault if they don;t go out in the countryside is it

    Go basic & get an old series 3, then get limited mileage classic car insurance though it doesn't have to be too limited.

    Worked in the railway industry for 20 years and having seen how it can affect drivers and what damage a train can do even at low speed I will never understand people that play silly b*****ds with trains. A lapse of judgement left a very good friend of mine in 3 pieces, the train was going at approx 15 mph.

    When I worked in the railway industry annual hours contracts were being introduced for drivers which was OK if driver weren't offered "overtime" but on the flip side a driver could complete his annual hours in a matter of months and then wouldn't have to work until the start of the new contract year thus leading to driver shortages.
