Just sorting out some garden rubbish for the tip.Looked in one of the bags and out pops a grass snake. First time I've seen a wild snake and made my day, even though it shit all over me when I picked it up to release it.

Saw a documentary about albinos in Tanzania and the witchdoctors reckon they are cursed. They also pay gangs to go round cutting their limbs off to make some sort of potion. Interesting and at times very moving.

Was in Richmond Park a good few years ago with my JRT on a lead and some lab come over and start having a go. Its owner was not happy when my dog locked on to its neck. More recently my neighbours Norfolk terriers rounded on my rescue saluki cross who is extremely nervous around other dogs. Kicked the fu*k out the little shits and the owner collapsed having an asthma do. No sympathy and they got the vets bill plus some for my time and trouble. I also made it very clear what would happen if I ever saw her dogs off the leads again.

At first they were pushing us to put him in our local mainstream college that doesn't even do the courses he wants to do (horticulture) so they said well can't he do something else. FFS. We went for a visit and he was scared witless. Now he's going to be residential Monday to Friday so he can be taught all the living skills as well. If he hadn't got the funding he simply wouldn't have gone to college and would be virtually unemployable. I got my own little gardening business and he wants to work with me but he needs to get some qualifications as well.

Just had confirmation that my eldest lad, who is autistic, has got funding to attend a fantastic special needs college next year.All the hard work fighting for it has paid off. He's delighted as he was getting really worked up not knowing what he would be doing in September.

Don't hang about. See your GP and get referred to orthotics. They will make you some custom built inserts for you. If you don't get out sorted you are heading for knee, hip and back trouble. Been with my other half today to a really nice hospital in Peterborough to get hers sorted out. They must have spent billions on the place. Nice to see the taxes going on something decent for a change.

My other half went back to her studies having dossed at school. Don't know if its the same where you are but she did what is called a pre access course, then had an interview to ensure she was at the standard required to study for foundation degree. She did her maths and english gcses while doing the foundation degree. She has just successfully completed her foundation degree course (3 years) and is doing a one year top up to full degree starting in September/October. While doing her top up she will do her science gcse so that she can then go into teaching. Don't mind saying so but I am extrem

This happened recently near Nottingham and I think the fire brigade were involved after getting the licence from Natural England. It was on local TV news and just for the TV cameras they took the dog to the same place and were letting it into the entrances on its lead. JMO but isn't that illegal.

Hope they sue the ass off the arsepca/police. If only one of the sporting organisations would use this to kick start a media campaign showing the majority use their dogs for legitimate pest control.

Saw the soul crew n action in Nottingham a few years back, won't forget it as it was the day my daughter was born and just popped into town for a bit of lunch with the family while the missus had a rest. They were games as fu*k. Had a ring side seat in a chinese buffet place and when we left there was 5 sc stood on one side calling it on with dozens of forest on the other with very few OB (they had corralled the rest of the sc further up the road) and the forest wouldn't engage.

They're turning the stadium into the British countryside a la disney no doubt. Seen on news this morning that it's coming in under budget by about 1/2 billion quid. Original bill was about 2 1/2 billion, revised later to 9 billion so actually coming in 6 billion over. Some one got their sums massively wrong.
