It was a good day. I had planned to follow the local hounds but the hard frost stopped them hunting. I keep a few chickens and get the occasional rat round their pen but there were none there on Monday so I rang a mate who has a farm and arranged to go to his for a couple of hours. We gave up in the dark with the dogs marking like mad under a pile of reinforced concrete beams. We shifted some and ratty shifted under another pile. We'll get him next time. Bad news today though. My JR dog (the one in the picture pulling one apart with the red lakeland) looks to have taken some poison in. He's re

I can't believe the CA are backing down so easily. All the hunts and clubs should go out the day after and HUNT. Not piss about hound exercising or whatever. They were all for us signing the declaration a few months ago but now tell us not do break the law. What should have happened is Tiny Bliar should have told his back bench arseholes to piss off. After all he's meant to be in charge. Personally I wouldn't put him charge of an orgy in a brothel. It looks like we might have got a few more months to look forward to but we haven't won yet. We must all do what we can to get rid of these b*****d

Know what you mean about OB. I had them out to a neighbour whose dog is mental and keeps going for my kids. When I told them it wasn't that i had a problem with dogs cos i got three of my own they asked to see them. When they saw they were terriers the first thing they said was hope you don;t go badger digging. In the meantime crime in my village is soaring.

This is my first post. I follow my local foxhounds and also do some rabbiting with ferrets and ratting with my three dogs. I'm in the process of trying to obtain more ratting permission. My dogs love it, recently one of them was tryin g to bite through corrugated iron to get at one. The dog won.
